On our way to the Cafe we seen a truck crashed in the ditch.
" Isn't that your dad's truck? "
Mike sighed
"Yes."
"You want to go check it out?"
Mike turns around and looks at me like are you crazy.
"Ok we won't go!"
We find a parking spot and head inside the Cafe.
" Were you want to sit? "
" Oh hey there's the girls! "
We go and sit down at their table.
" What took you boys so long, we thought we were going to be the ones late."
" Oh there was a car crash and we got distracted by it. "
" Hey did you girls order yet? "
" No not yet we were waiting for you."
"Hi guys are we ready to order!"
"Do you 2 know what you want?"
"Ya I think so."
"Ok ladies what will you be having?"
"I'll go with the waffles and what do you want Sara? "
" I'll have chicken strips please."
" Ok and for you boys?"
" Uh we will both go with the special. "
" Ok is that everything?"
" Ya I think so.
"Ok your food will be here shortly."
"Oh Mike I almost forgot!"
Lauren reaches in her purse and pulls out a card.
"Here you go."
"What's this?"
"A birthday card silly, now open it up!"
"Oh Lauren you shouldn't have. "
Mike opens the card and a $50 bill pops out.
"Well it was the least I could do, I heard what happened and I felt really bad. "
" Oh Billie I got you something too."
" You did? "
" Ya you have been saying that you needed a new amp for your guitar so-. "
" Gosh thanks Lauren. "
The food has arrived.
" Ok here you go guys hope you enjoy, can I get anything else for you?"
" No uh I think we're good for know thanks."
20 minutes later
" Whoa Mike your already done?"
"Ya I only had some cereal today."
" Hey so uh Mike did you like your gift I got you?"
" Did I like my gift, no Billie I didn't like my gift."
" Wait what?."
" I love my gift it's the best thing ever, and I can't wait to use it later.
I lean in and kiss My Mike on the cheek.
"Awwww!" The girls said
"Oh stop it you'll make a seen!" Mike scowled

" Hey well boys we better go."
Lauren left a check in the table and we all left.
