Chapter 5 - Attack On Camp Half-Blood

It's time for the surprise attack on "camp half-blood."

What a strange name. What does "half-blood"even mean, anyway? Dream wondered as he lead a huge troop of monsters towards half-blood hill. He is leading the attack on half-blood hill under Kronos's command. Kronos isn't even in the attack. Actually, only 3/5 of his forces are apart of the attack. Dream is pretty sure this is a test from Kronos to see how skillful he really is. If he succeeds, he will be rewarded and honored. If he fails, he will either die in battle or be killed by Kronos. Then Kronos will attack again himself.

Well, Dream will survive either way. No matter the outcome of the battle.

There is only one winner, and Dream will make sure Kronos is the one that gets Checkmated.

Dream would never let himself be destroyed.

Who is really in control here?

Kronos wants power. That's why he wants to overthrow the gods. To do so, he has to destroy the demigods before they cause trouble for Kronos. Well, Dream didn't particularly like the fact that the demigods blew up the Princess Andromeda, so he kind of sees them as enemies. Then again, he never liked the cruise ship or being used by Kronos as a weapon either, so it doesn't matter.

Drista and Bad marched behind him, murmuring. Dream can't hear much of their conversation, but they must be worried about their friends back home. Dream is also homesick, but... Dream doesn't really care all that much. They'll be back in the SMP one day. Enjoy the present and plan for the future. Dwelling on the last wouldn't help at all.

To Kronos, only useful beings can live. If Dream shows any signs of weakness, Kronos can use that against him or he'll eventually get bored of Dream and just kill him. Dream is hard to kill, but it's not impossible. Kronos is very powerful.

Dream doesn't need a war right now. Not with Kronos, to be exact. It is bound to happen one day, but not yet. Having it happen later and not now is good for Dream.

It's a good thing Dream has a mask, or else Kronos could easily find out many things from his face expressions. Kronos's skill is finding others's weaknesses, after all. If Kronos doesn't know anything about Dream, he's likely not to kill him.

Dream isn't really scared of dying. He's scared for Drista and BBH. If he wanted to, Dream could easily get out, but he's not so sure about Drista and Bad.

A hill came into view. There stood a huge pine tree on the hill. Dream could see the camp already. It looks a lot like Tommy's exile, but bigger, better, and more populated.

Such a pity that this camp has to go. It's a nice place. Dream stood at the foot of the hill and admired it for a second before commanding the monsters to charge.

"KRONOS IS HERE!!!" Someone yelled. Tommy sat up from his bed and rubbed his eyes.

"Tommy, isn't this the attack everyone's been anxious about?" Ranboo asked, standing up.

Tommy shrugged, "Dunno. Let's go outside and take a look."

The two stepped outside. Everyone was getting ready with all the weapons and armor they have. Tommy saw a mob of monsters down the hill. He has never seen so many monsters in one place before. The colors made him a little dizzy.

Tommy's vision blurred. He clutched his head tightly.

Tommy huffed, his breath quickened. His breath suddenly stopped, he couldn't breathe. His hand went to his throat.

"Tommy? Tommy!" Tommy didn't know who the panicked voice is. He couldn't see anything, everything is blurry in his eyes.
