Chapter 30 - Three Heroes' Return

Both camps had already heard of Ranboo, Bob, and Damasen's sacrifice, but everyone thought that the three were dead. Turns out, they aren't dead.

"Ranboo was injured?!" Annabeth cried, scared for her friend.

"Uh, it wasn't that bad-" Ranboo started, before getting pulled into the medics' place and getting healed. The enderman hybrid tried to protest, but no one was budging.

Then, everyone crowded around Bob and Damasen, showering them with questions and love until Chiron stopped them.

"Alright, I think that's enough. It's time for Capture The Flag."

Audible groans could be heard from the Greek demigods.

Thalia is leading the hunters' side of Capture The Flag. Meanwhile, Percy and Annabeth are co-captains on the other side. Some Romans had also joined the game. Ever since the Greeks and Romans united, there has been "transfer demigods". Romans were sent to Camp Half-Blood for a taste of their life. Greeks were sent to Camp Jupiter to get a feel of how being a Roman is like.

Techno and many other demigods were assigned to charge into the enemy ranks and distract them while Nico and Annabeth go steal the flag. (They are good friends now 👍) Being a child of Hades, Nico can blend in with the shadows without trying. No one knows why, but it's hard to spot him. Annabeth will help him with her brains and come up with plans.

Percy and Bad were both guarding the borders. Percy will charge in if he sees an opportunity, but for now he is staying on the borders. Puffy is watching and guarding the flag with another demigod.

There were also ambushes set up. Piper and Jason were both there, ready to ambush some hunters. Will and the Apollo kids were in the treetops, ready to shoot the hunters. Leo and the Hephaestus cabin had set up traps.

Everyone is ready.

Ten minutes into the game...

Mia (a hunter) has finally reached the demigods' flag. No one has noticed her yet. Just as she stepped on the platform around the flag, a net came down from the tree and caught her.

Her companion (Celine) quickly took the flag and ran. The demigods started warning everyone.

The son of Zeus- or Jupiter jumped out with the daughter of Aphrodite to stop her. But just as fast, hunters arrived to Celine's rescue. She quickly jumped away and kept going towards the hunters' territory. "Stop!" Piper yelled. Everyone around did so. Piper kept yelling commands, trying to slow Celine down.

The said hunter got away from the area to the border. At the other end, she saw the son of Hades running towards the demigods' side, carrying the hunters' flag. With her enhanced speed, Celine moved even faster. She was more than halfway across the river already.

Then, a pink haired man picked Nico up and threw him across the river. Percy caught the said demigod with water from the river and set him down on the demigods' bank just as Celine was about the reach the hunters' bank. The demigods all cheered.

The first time they won Capture The Flag against the hunters in more than 60 years. (I think it's 60+ years??)

The hunters were in a sullen mood, but they soon cheered up during dinner. Thalia encouraged them all to join the campfire song, so the hunters did.

After a few verses of singing, Will grabbed Techno and dragged him over to the center. "Alright, Techno, any words of wisdom for us all tonight?" He asked, grinning. The Apollo kids had started a trend within their cabin to ask any smart people this question. They do this with the Athena cabin, too.
