Chapter 16: Work Studies Calm Before The Storm

3rd Pov:

After about 3 more weeks of classes, a rough schedule was decided on how they would add their work studies into everything. The time for the basic education classes was shortened by one hour which still left a lot of time for them. Period three was split up with half before lunch and a half after lunch and then another hour was taken off heroics 101. This is due to the fact that they will gain experience out on the field. As such, they would leave two hours early from school on most days and wouldn't have heroics 101 at all on Tuesdays and Thursdays again due to them getting experience on the field. Overall, the simulations were mostly about being prepared for different situations in the field and Gang Orc was planning to train them a bit at the agency as well so the school and the agency would ensure they hit everything they needed for their education to be complete.

The boys were also asked to get their driver's licenses quickly and the school would provide them a vehicle which Gang Orc has agreed to pay for the cost of gas and upkeep. This way they could get to the office quicker than the train which took an hour. By car would only take them around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. This would provide them 1 and a half hours of school time for the work-studies on most days and whatever they spent after hours. They would also have more time on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they didn't have heroics 101. In the event that a day of work-study was canceled, it would just be time for them to work on any lessons that they had available for them.

As such, this was how their schedules were set starting the second month of the second semester. The boys decided to fit the physical training in whenever they could and decided to do it mostly after the work-study. They also decided to sleep at the warehouse a few nights like Friday so they could get up early and workout on the weekends since there was enough room for each of them since All Might had the living area expanded. Gran Torino made the training grueling but didn't push them to the point of their bodies breaking. Gang Orc was given the training regiment and food diet that they have with All Might and Gran Torino. He was only told that it was Gran Torino teaching them who used to work at UA as a homeroom teacher which was a true statement. As such, UA, the Agency, and the mentors all collaborated on the workout plans and training to be efficient and hit the boy's limit without breaking them. Most other people would have broken due to the sheer amount of physical training and mental exhaustion that the three boys went through but they pushed through and kept moving forward. 

The work-study had them out on the field and gaining experience. For the first month and a half, they were set out with sidekicks as individuals and would do a few days as a large team. They were making a name for themselves as UA's youngest provisional heroes. They got familiar with the people they did their work-studies with and the people they met on the streets. One day Izuku found a group of kids bullying another kid. Izuku walked over to them and asked what they were doing. The kids explained that they were teaching the boy a lesson for being a villain. Izuku asked how he was a villain and they described his quirk. It was a quirk with brainwashing abilities that allowed him to control people. "Now how does that make him a villain? You didn't give me any reason to believe him as a villain but instead, you guys are the ones in the wrong. You are bullying him and discriminating against him based on his quirk which is illegal. Do you think All Might would do something like this?" Izuku asked them. They didn't answer and were starting to look pale when Izuku called them out on what they were doing. "Let me tell you he wouldn't. All Might has even gone after schools for discrimination practices and it seems another school is about to hit the list for him to target as well." Izuku stated. The boys begged him not to do anything to them. He asked for their names and told them to run off. What they didn't know is that Izuku had a camera on his suit and would give it to Nezu later for him to blacklist them from hero schools since they looked like they were middle schoolers. Izuku then turned to the other kid. "Are you alright?" Izuku asked him. The boy looked surprised at being helped. Izuku hated seeing people like this. It made him remember his past before he met All Might.
