Chapter 26: Sports Festival & Talk Of The Past

3rd Pov:

It's been about a week since the attack on the U.S.J. The media attempted to rake UA over the coals with the attack but UA pushed back and called the Media out on how they had a hand in the attack. It was amazing to watch. As one reporter asked what they will do in regards to their weak defenses and how they would respond in regards to the villains. Izuku struck back. "All things are not 100% certain in life. Nothing is perfect. However, we will continue to move forward and build up our defenses of the school. We did anticipate a second attack on the school after the first one. As such, that is why I was sent with the first-year students to ensure their safety more since we just couldn't cancel and keep canceling events if we didn't know for certain when they would attack." Izuku stated and a reporter took the bait on the words first and the second attack and asked about what he meant. "Ah yes. The attack on the U.S.J was actually their second one. The first one you Media had a hand in. It was when you all came onto the campus setting the alarms off and consumed our attention controlling you. This allowed one of the main villains to warp into our building and steal the schedule. So yes, the Media played a large role in the villain's attack on UA and endangering our students. Thank you so much for that since you all couldn't be proper human beings and leave our campus alone when you were told many times that day. Instead, you wanted a damming story that helped endangered our student's lives." Izuku stated with a cold smile on his face. The reporters tried to object but Izuku just kept shutting them down by pointing out if they weren't crowded at the gate then the villains wouldn't have had the chance to break into the building in the first place. 

The reporters got silent quickly and let the press conference go forward. Izuku made sure that UA had streamed the press conference themselves so the public would see what happened unedited. It was amazing to read the comments later as the public bashed the media for aiding the villains in the attack on UA and the public was supporting UA since no students got injured and there were minimal wounds on the hero side. (The public wasn't told about Izuku's injuries.) Everyone was supporting UA more and more unlike the villain's aim of damaging their reputation. 

Soon the classes also started back up and it was time for the students to return. Izuku made sure to stop by 1-A during one of their classes to show them that he was fine. He also was digging into anything that could be related to All For One since they knew he was now alive. Soon though Izuku was going to go for lunch when he saw a large number of people outside the 1-A doors. Izuku listened to the conversation and he was annoyed. He heard people talking about how the 1-A students were arrogant just because they got attacked and then there was the idiot blond from 1-B that has annoyed Izuku one too many times. Izuku decided to move in. 

"I think that is enough wouldn't you say," Izuku said as he walked up. Though he wasn't in his UA uniform or his hero outfit so some didn't recognize him. Some asked who the hell he was and Izuku just smiled. "Hello! I'm Fulcrum. Nice to meet you all!" Izuku said with a cheer in his voice. The students paled a bit at who walked up to them. "Now, I heard a lot of interesting comments. You will all leave this class alone or else you will be punished. This class didn't ask to be attacked by villains and you are all thinking that they act holier than thou for it. Well, guess what. Getting attack and fighting for your life isn't fun. The villains had a monster that could kill All Might there and you think they enjoyed it from some of your comments. Leave now." Izuku said but stopped Neito Monoma. Izuku grabbed him by the ear and dragged him to Nezu's office. 

"Now... I told you to drop that dam toxic rivalry you tried starting or if it was a complex you had that you needed to drop but it seems you didn't listen to me. Nezu... I recommend a week of detention and if he keeps going it will increase until the point we expel him." Izuku said to Nezu as they walked to the principal's office. The boy just looked pale as he had gotten dragged to the principal's office by his ear and was dragged past his class. Vlad King just shooked his head when his student looked at him.
