It's been several days since Gemma and I went out to the hills. When we got back to the hospital, pretty much everyone left but Carlson, Isom, Sean, and Phil. Sean left soon after because I told him and Phil to leave so they're not stuck in one room forever. Sean left so he could spend time with Erika and Zeke and Phil said he was going to go tell the guys' friends about what happened, if Andy and Brett hadn't already told them.
That afternoon, Andy came up because I wanted to go home and grab some stuff to do. When Isom is cleared to go home and he and Carlson decide to leave me up here alone, I needed things to do. I know they wouldn't want to, but I'll make Isom. He should listen to me.
Andy and I left to go by my apartment after he got there. "You sure you want to go alone?" Andy had asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I just have to go down the block and into the building. I'll be fine." I giggled and dismissed the topic.
That had been my first mistake. I should've let Andy come with me because he would've been able to help me when the people recognized me. And it didn't help that one of the dudes in the little group was about ten times my size and he came at me after the girl said she hated me. It was a mad dash for me after that. I had run to the safety of my apartment building and told Ron, the doorman/receptionist guy, to not let anyone in asking for me unless they could say my address.
I ran up the stairs to the fifth floor, I only ran because the elevator in this building was the slowest thing ever and I didn't have the time. I quickly texted Andy as I jumped up the stairs and have him the code to the parking garage beside my building and gave him my address so he could come up. I didn't tell him reasons, I just said I needed him to come up to the apartment.
Ten minutes later, he knocked on the door. I let him in and explained why I couldn't go back down the street alone. He thankfully told me that there was no one around that he could see, so we left.
When we got back to the hospital, Andy must've said something to Isom because he and Carlson were asking me about what happened. So, I had to explain to them what happened as Andy left. He had a good reason though, he and Roxi had planned to go out and do something today.
"So, what do we do know?" I asked as we sat in awkward silence for a little while.
"I don't know..." Isom frowned.
"Hey, what time is it?" Carlson suddenly asked.
"3:30, why?" Isom looked at his phone and answered.
"Shit! I had to be at Bex's apartment fifteen minutes ago!" Carlson stood up to leave.
"Why?"
"Because we're all doing something tonight." Carlson raised her nose and started laughing. "I'll see y'all later."
"Bye!" I waved as Isom smiled half heartedly.
"Come on, cheer up!" I giggled as I went to sit by Ponsi, to Isom's left.
"I know. I need to." Isom smiled sincerely.
We sat and talked for a little while as he sat in his bed, facing me and I leaned my arm on Ponsi's bed. Not long after Isom and I started talking, Dr. Shay came in to talk to Isom. I got up and moved to the couch to give her some space. A few minutes later, Isom was cleared and able to come back and forth to the hospital.
"So, what's going on with you?" Isom randomly asked as soon as Dr. Shay left.
"Dude, you've been here with me this whole time!" I giggled.
"Come on, I'm trying to pass the time!" Isom laughed and slapped my shoulder.
"Whatever! Why don't we talk about the fact that you're now cleared to leave?"
