PONSI'S POV

I felt so sorry for Cal. Seeing how Sash practically disowned her pissed me off. I couldn't believe her own best friend would do something like that to her. I guess what they say is true, girls really are fickle creatures. I just don't understand why they're like this sometimes.

The next day, I could tell that Cal was in a slight depression and I don't blame her a bit for acting like that.

"Hey, Mark?" Cal asked.

"Yeah?"

"You should probably call your parents. They're probably worried about you."

"Oh, yeah, that's a good idea." Mark chuckled and got up. "I'll be out in the hall if you need me." Cal nodded as Mark walked out.

After a few minutes of sitting alone in the room, Cal decided to call Ashton. "Hey." She sighed heavily. "Can you Skype?" I chuckled to myself as Cal hung up and pulled out her laptop, settling down into the corner of the couch.

"Hey, what's up?" Ashton asked as the call connected.

"Sash. I don't know what to do, Ashton." Cal just broke down as she said this.

"Whoa, calm down. What's going on? Talk to me."

"She found out about me and the guys from the news people. I can't do it! I don't know how to fix things! She told me that she never wanted to talk to me again! I really fucked up this time, Ashton."

"Oh, shit. Are you serious?"

"Yes!" She wailed loudly. I'm surprised Mark hasn't come back into the room yet.

I thought too soon because right as Cal started freaking out, Mark came hurrying into the room. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Mark. I was just talking to Ashton." Cal turned a little red. "I hope you weren't talking with your parents still."

"No, we were done." Mark came over and sat down next to her. "Oh, hey, Ashton!"

"Mark! It's good to see you up and talking." Ashton smiled as I leaned on the top of the couch.

"You don't even know how relieving it is to be up like this." Mark chuckled.

"You're right, I don't." Ashton laughed, agreeing with Mark.

"So, you're overseas?"

"Yeah, if I wasn't I'd be up there with Calliegh."

Mark snorted a little bit. "I guess you're right." Mark chuckled.

Then Ashton's friend Dustin walked into the frame. "Hey, Cal! Hey... Uh..."

"Mark." Mark answered smiling a little, waving.

"Oh shit, that's the singer right?" Dustin asked, eyes widening slightly.

"Yeah, I'm the singer." Mark laughed.

"I just started listening to you because of Ashton because he said your music is pretty good, and I have to say it's really good. I don't normally listen to listen to the kind of music y'all make, but y'all's music is good."

"Oh, thanks." Mark smiled.

"So, how're things over there?" Cal changed that subject.

"Nothing's changed since last time." Ashton shrugged.

"Oh, that's a shame."

"Yeah, it really is."

"THOMAS! LOCKWOOD!" A loud voice called from somewhere on the other end of the call.
