This is just gonna be a filler chapter! It won't be long.
The next day, I walked into the great hall, and everyone fell silent, and stared at me. That's not weird.
Xavier walked up to me, a look of worry etched upon his face. "Y/n-"
"What? What's going on? Why is everyone staring at me?"
He looked over his shoulder at someone, I didn't know who. "It's rita skeeter's article."
My heart dropped. "What did she write?"
"You don't like being with me?" Draco stepped around my brother, a look of hurt in his eyes.
"What?"
"You don't like being with me? You think that this is the worst thing in the world for you? If you don't even like me, then why the hell-"
"Draco, what-"
"What, are you afraid that I'll be an awful husband to you? After all we've been through."
I looked around the great hall. No one was eating their breakfast. They were all paying full attention to us. I shifted on my feet uncomfortably. "Draco, can we go somewhere more private?"
"Why? You didn't have a problem talking to rita skeeter at the three broomsticks about us. Why would you care what everyone else thinks?"
"Draco, please-"
"You know what, if you really can't stand me that much, how about you just stop talking to me. The next words that will come out of my mouth is at our wedding when I say 'I do'."
He stormed out of the hall. Tears burned as they flooded my eyes. Noise filled my ears, as the students started to whisper to one another.
"Come on, y/n." Xavier wrapped his arms around me, and led me in the direction of the slytherin common room.
"I-I don't understand what I did wrong."
"You did nothing wrong, y/n. You talked to rita skeeter yesterday?" I nodded my head. "Then it was her fault. She twisted your words around. You know how much she loves to do that. You should have known to not talk to her."
"So it is my fault." I wiped a tear, that had fallen, away.
"Well, uh," He stammered. "Partly. Mainly skeeter's fault. I'll write to father, he'll fix it, he always does."
The sound of someone running up met our ears. We both turned around, and saw sebastian running towards us.
"Hey, what's going on? Why is y/n crying?"
"Some stupid bitch. That's all I have to say." Xavier mumbled, making me continue to follow him.
"I don't know why you two should worry about it. It's just a stupid boy problem. I wouldn't have lived life if I didn't go through it at least once."
I pulled away from xavier, and started making my way up to gryffindor tower. I said the password to the fat lady and climbed through the portrait hole. Harry was there, holding a copy of the daily prophet.
I laughed when I saw that. "I'm guessing you read that, huh?" I sat on the couch beside him.
"I was actually looking for another article about me when I found it. How did malfoy take it?"
"He thinks I absolutely hate his guts, even though I've never said that EVER!" I ran a hand down my face. "Says that he won't talk to me until our wedding day when he says 'I do'."
"I know it's not my place to say, but you deserve better than him, y/n."
I looked to him, hurt. "Why would you say that? He's been good to me, never raised a hand, never called me names-"
I was cut off when harry leaned over and slammed his lips on mine. My eyes were wide open with shock, and I pushed him away by his chest.
He fixed his glasses, and started stammering, "I-I-I'm sorry."
Without another word, I stood up, and ran out the portrait hole. What the hell is going on with boys today?
