As the days went by, I had a battle with myself inside my head. Should I tell harry what I know? Should I tell him why sirius black is after him? Or should I not? I don't feel like it's my place to tell him, but I fear that he would be furious with me if I didn't.

Meanwhile, the whole school talked about nothing but sirius black for the next few days. The theories about how he entered the castle was just blowing my mind each time I hear a different one. My favorite, so far, was when hannah abbott, from hufflepuff, told everyone that black could turn into a flowering shrub. Crazy, right.

The fat lady's ripped canvas was taken off the wall, and replaced with a portrait of sir cadogan and his fat grey pony. I was not happy about this. He would spend half of his time challenging people to duels, and the rest thinking of ridiculous passwords, which, may I remind you, he changed at least twice a day.

It was the final training session before our match against slytherin, when oliver gave us some unwelcoming news.

"We're not playing slytherin!" He said angrily. "Flint's just been to see me. We're playing hufflepuff instead."

My face fell. "Why?"

"Well.. because the two of you are... you know-"

"Engaged? The word's engaged, oliver. But just because we're that, doesn't mean he'll listen to me. I mean, I'm pretty sure he still hates me."

"And there's nothing wrong with malfoy's arm!" Harry practically screamed. "He's faking it!"

"Oh, trust me, harry." Oliver said. "But we can't prove it."

All heads turn to look at me. Even I pointed up to my face.

"Yeah, we can, oliver."

"Are we supposed to pin him down, then? And force him to play?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm down for that."

"Anyway, we've been practicing all those moves assuming we're playing slytherin, and instead it's hufflepuff, and their styles quite different. They've got a new captain and seeker, cedric diggory-"

Angelina, katie and I started giggling.

Oliver frowned. "What?"

"He's that tall, good looking one, isn't he?" Angelina asked.

"Strong and silent." Katie added, and we all started to giggle again.

"He's only silent because he's too think to string two words together." Fred said impatiently.

"Aw, freddie." I cooed. "I think you're beautiful, too." I ruffled his hair, and kissed his cheek.

"I don't know why you're worried, oliver," He continued. "Hufflepuffs are pushovers. Last time we played them, harry caught the snitch in about five minutes, remember?"

"We're playing in completely different conditions!" Oliver's eyes bulged slightly. "Diggory's put a very strong side together! He's an excellent seeker! I was afraid you'd take it like this! We must not relax! We must keep our focus! Slytherin are trying to wrong foot us! We must win!"

"Oliver, calm down! We're taking this very seriously. Seriously."

I zoned out snapes voice as he spoke. Professor lupin didn't come in today, so snape took over. Draco decided it was best for him to sit next to me, his bandaged arm making me even more mad. But as I was thinking, my left hand was messing with something on the table. What it was, I had no idea. I was too focused.

The door opened, breaking me out of my thoughts. I looked over, and saw harry standing there. It was only then, when I realized what I was messing with. Draco's family crest ring. I tore my hand away quickly, as if it had burned me.

"Sorry I'm late, professor lupin, I-" Harry spotted snape in lupin's spot.

"Lesson began ten minutes ago, potter, so I think we'll make it ten points from gryffindor. Sit down." I rolled my eyes. Thanks, snape.

Harry didn't move. "Where's professor lupin?"

"He says he is feeling too ill to teach today. I believe I told you to sit down."

"What's wrong with him?" He still didn't move.

"Nothing life threatening. Five more points from gryffindor, and if I have to ask you to sit down again, it will be fifty."

'Sit down!' I mouthed to him.

"As I was saying before potter interrupted," Snape said. "Professor lupin has not left any record of the topics you have covered so far-"

"But, sir, we've done boggarts, red caps, kappas and grindylows." Hermione said quickly. "We were just about to start-"

"Be quiet." Snape said coldly. "I did not ask for information. I was merely commenting on professor lupin's lack of organization."

"He's the best defense against the dark arts teacher we've ever had." I said. There was a murmur of agreement from the gryffindor side of the class.

"You are easily satisfied. Lupin is hardly overtaxing you. I would expect first years to be able to deal with red caps and grindylows. Today we shall discuss," he flipped to a page in the back of the book. "werewolves."

"But, sir," Hermione began again, and draco scoffed beside me. "we're not supposed to do werewolves yet, we're due to start hinkypunks-"

"Miss granger," Snapes voice was deadly calm. I don't like it. "I was under the impression that I was teaching this lesson, not you. And I am telling you all to turn to page three hundred and ninety-four." He glanced around at all of us. "All of you! Now!"

I jumped, but did as he said.

"Now, which of you can tell me the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?"

My hand and hermione's shot up into the air.

Snape ignored her. "No one? How disappointing."

"Please, sir," Hermione insisted. "An animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon, when he transforms he no longer remember who he is. He'll kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds to its own kind."

Draco howled beside me, making crabbe laugh, and I hit him in the chest with the back of my hand.

"Thank you, mr. malfoy." Snape drawled. "That is the second time you've spoken out of turn, miss granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself, or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all. Five points from gryffindor."

I scoffed. "Professor snape, you asked us a question and she knows the answer! Why ask if you don't want to be told?"

The class went quiet. Draco couldn't help but slowly laugh at how I stood up to the teacher.

His black eyes bore into mine, but I didn't back down. I know what's going on through his head. He wanted to give me detention, but knowing who my father is, he wouldn't dare.

"Another ten points from gryffindor for miss diore's tounge."

I smirked when he looked away.
