The next morning, we all went down to eat for breakfast.

"Have you figured the egg out yet?" I asked harry, leaning my forehead against my hand.

"Not yet." He answered. "Every time I open it, it just screeches."

"Maybe you should ask cedric, or fleur, or krum."

"No, they probably haven't figured it out either."

"Parcel for you, mr. weasley." A little boy walked up, holding a large package.

"Thank you, nigel." Ron took the package from him, but nigel stayed, smiling at harry.

I cleared my throat, and nodded my head to the boy. Ron finally realized that he was still there.

Ron dropped his voice to a whisper. "Not now, nigel. Later."

Harry, hermione and I all looked to ron, waiting for his excuse.

"I told him I would get him harry's autograph." He opened his package. "Oh, look, mum sent me something!" He pulled out something fabric... and frilly. He held it up, and looked at us with wide eyes. "Mum sent me a dress!"

"Well, it does match your eyes." I made a snarky remark. "Is there a bonnet, harry?"

"I believe there is." He reached into the box, and pulled something even more frilly out. He held it up to ron.

Ron rolled his eyes, and pushed harry's hand away. "Put those down, harry." He walked up to the table where his sister was sitting. "Ginny, these must be for you."

Ginny looked at the dress robes in disgust. "I'm not wearing that, that's ghastly."

Hermione and I started cracking up laughing.

"What are you two on about?"

"They're not for ginny. They're for you." Hermione said between laughs.

The whole table was laughing at this point.

"They're dress robes." I informed between my laughs.

He looked at me like I was crazy. "Dress robes? For what?"

Mcgonagall entered the great hall. "I need all gryffindor students to follow me please!"

We all stood from our seats, and followed her into an empty classroom on the third floor. There was a record player, along with filch and his cat.

"Ladies on one side, gentlemen on the other." Mcgonagall instructed.

I took a seat next to hermione. I crossed my legs, and placed my hands in my lap.

"The yule ball has been a tradition of the triwizard tournament since it's inception." Professor mcgonagall said. "On christmas eve night, we and our guests gather in the great hall for a night of well mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school, I expect each and everyone of you to put your best foot forward, and I mean this literally because the yule ball is first and foremost... a dance!"

Exited whispers erupted from my side of the room.

"Did she just say a dance?" Hermione asked me.

"I think so!"

"Which reminds me, miss diore," I turned my attention back to professor mcgonagall. "professor dumbledore would like to speak to you in his office."

"Oooh! Someone's in trouble!" The twins chorused from across the room.

I stuck my tongue out at them, and went to leave the room. But before I did, mcgonagall whispered the password in my ear. I nodded my head, and made my way up to his office. What the twins said actually concerned me. Was I in trouble? I don't think I did anything wrong lately. I said the password to the stone griffin, and it hoped out of the way. I rode the spiral staircase all the way up to his office. Before I could tap my knuckles of the door, it opened, revealing sebastian and xavier.

My eyebrows furrowed closer together. "What are you two doing here?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing." Seb said.

"I invited you all here today." Dumbledore said from his desk. He beckoned us forward, and the three of us moved closer to him. "I'm sure you all heard about the upcoming yule ball, am I correct?"

I nodded my head. "I was just with professor mcgonagall, and she was telling us all about it."

"Professor snape told us yesterday evening." Xavier said.

"And I found out just now." Sebastian shrugged.

"Yes, well, I wanted to do something special with the three schools. I talked to headmaster karkaroff about my idea, and he politely declined my offer. So instead, I chose you, mr. diore."

Xavier arched an eyebrow. "And what was I second best for?"

"I want the three of you to show that the three schools can work together instead of against each other like they are in the tournament. Mr. johnson (sebastian), you will be representing beauxbatons, mr. diore, the durmstrang, and miss diore, hogwarts."

"I still don't get it." Sebastian breathed. "If all this is for the yule ball, are we going to be dancing with one another, or..."

"Exactly that, mr. johnson." Dumbledore smiled up at him.

Excitement filled my body after hearing that. "Are we really? That's awesome! I already have some dances picked out.!"

"That's great, miss diore. I will give you each permission to practice every evening until ten. Mr. diore, you'll have to escort your sister back to her common room each night."

"Yes, sir." Xavier nodded.

"Where would we practice, if you don't mind me asking, sir?" Sebastian wondered.

Dumbledore thought about it for a second. "Look along the seventh floor. You should be able to find something there."

"Yes, sir. We won't let you down."

I'm sorry this was so short!
