The next cold day, after classes, the boys and I went to try and find hermione. She wasn't at dinner when we went down, nor was she in the library. The only person in there was krum. I laughed quietly at ron, who was hovering behind the bookshelves for a while, watching krum, debating in whispers with harry and i whether he should ask for an autograph.

"Ron, how badly do you want an autograph?" I asked.

"Very badly." He breathed.

"How about I go get you one?"

He turned to me, his eyes wide. "Will you?"

"Sure, but it's gonna cost you."

His shoulders slumped. "Never mind."

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, ronald. It was a joke."

I skipped forward to krum's table. He looked up from the book he was reading when I pulled a chair out, and smiled at me.

"Ah, you're y/n diore, right? Malfoyz, uhh... fiancé?"

I nodded my head, and stretched my hand out for a handshake. "Nice to see you again, viktor."

He grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles. "You look beautivul. How are you?"

"I'm doing great. You were amazing in the first task."

"Thank you very much."

"Listen, I hate to be this person, especially since your fan club is watching us making it ten times more awkward," I nodded my head to the seven girls lurking behind a row of books. "but I was wondering if I could get your autograph for my friend."

"Of course." He grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill. He scribbled his autograph down quickly before handing it to me. "Here you go."

"Thank you, viktor. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day."

"You as vell, y/n"

I walked back over to ron, and handed him the autograph. He held it close to his chest, and stuffed it in his pocket. Once we were done with the library, we made our way back to the gryffindor common room.

"Wonder where she's got to?" I said.

"Don't know... balderdash." Harry said.

But the fat lady had barely begun to swing forwards, when the sound of racing feet behind us announced hermione's arrival.

"Harry!" She panted, skidding to a halt beside us. "Harry, you've got to come - you've got to come, the most amazing thing's happened - please-" She seized harry's arm and started to try and drag him back along the corridor.

"What's the matter?" Harry asked.

"I'll show you when we get there - oh, come on, quick-"

Harry looked at ron and I. I shrugged my shoulders, and we followed after her.

"Oh, don't mind me!" The fat lady called irritably after us. "Don't apologize for bothering me! I'll just hang here, wide open, until you get back, shall I?"

"Yeah, thanks." I shouted over my shoulder.

"Hermione, where are we going?" Harry asked, after she had led us down through six floors, and started down the marble staircase into the entrance hall.

"You'll see, you'll see in a minute!" She was so exited about whatever this is.

She turned left at the bottom of the staircase, and hurried towards the door where I've seen hufflepuffs go into. I've never been through here before. We followed hermione down a flight of stone steps, but instead of ending up in a gloomy underground passage like the one which led to snape's dungeon, we found ourselves in a broad, stone corridor, brightly lit with torches, and decorated with cheerful paintings that were mainly food.
