It had been four months since the battle of Mission City. And to say things have been chaotic would be an understatement.

The military had been prepping the base with slow construction, getting the place ready for the soldiers from all over the world. NEST was up and running, to a start.

NEST - the Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty if you wanted the mouthful.

Ever since they'd gotten the place together and running - to a degree - the 'bots & most of their small pack had been sent there to settle in.

Including Lennox, Epps, & Fig. Which was nice because familiar faces were a comfort.

You might be wondering how two minors got onto a classified, all male [at least, so far] military base.

Well it was surprisingly simple, at least once the autobots had made it a part of the freaking treaty. The government was extremely confused- pushing back on the request until Optimus was so frustrated that he actually showed emotion.

The girls were then made honorary autobots. Which resulted in a lot of gratitude & laughter. Especially after seeing the World Council's faces. They couldn't refuse, not when the two suddenly weren't part of Earth's citizens anymore- as if they really existed in the first place.

They still had no idea why, but they allowed it- on a few basic conditions.

1. The girls would still continue a basic school education. A special homeschooling program, along with an on-base tutor & translator.

They had a few other translators on base, since one person couldn't juggle the work of the nine or ten languages they dealt with day-to-day. So having one of them split the job of a high school tutor was perfectly fine- according to the government.

2. Treat every one of your superiors with respect. The girls were still classified as Autobots, so they had the right to stand in on important meetings & had a higher level than the soldiers did, but the whole respect thing was fine by them. Unless it was Galloway. Both of them were going to make sure his life was a living hell.

3. No roughhousing, treat the base like you would your workplace. Which made sense.

4. Don't spill government secrets.

They had to laugh at that one. Like seriously, the irony of that rule.

5. Their absolute favorite rule. The one they could not stop cackling at. No boys/relationships.

Like, did they seriously think that the girls would dive into a relationship.. on a military base? Really?

With all of the legal stuff out of the way, they were finally let onto base- meeting a few of the new arrivals too.

There was Jolt, who honestly didn't talk much. Or at all. Em tried a few times, but to no avail. He just wanted to keep to himself. He would come around eventually. Maybe.

Then the two met Red Alert, Ratchet's trainee. He was a huge contrast to the gruff bot that they knew. The surprisingly tall red bot was actually quite sweet- always making sure those on base were healthy & making friends at random.

But the main surprise was that he'd taken an immediate liking to Lynx. And vice versa. The small cyberkanine was almost always seen with either him or Milk- or you would rarely see him wandering around base.

Lynx had grown significantly in the past four months. Instead of being small enough to be cradled in the brunette's arm, he was now just past Em's waist.

Yeah, Lynx was gonna be tall. Like, really tall.

And the last addition to their tribe of chaos, Arcee. Not Arcee as in three split parts, Arcee. But Arcee, Primeverse Arcee. In all her pink & purple motorcycle glory.
