*contains female shit, if you don't want to read it, don't. this is your only warning. but you'll miss a lot of plot so play your cards right.*

Mikayla was in a panic. Emerson was in a panic. And neither of them could openly panic without feeling embarrassed about it.

"You know that if you spend a lot of time with someone, your period syncs?" Mikayla whispered to her friend as they tried to act normal walking down the hallway.

E's eyes widened, "Wait that's a thing?"

The brunette nodded, and the two gave awkward smiles to the people passing. All men. Could they tell? Were the two bleeding through their pants? Maybe?

"This is way too stressful." Mikayla hissed once they were out of earshot. "I hate being a girl sometimes. I really do."

Her friend grimaced, "Yeah.. I can relate."

The two girls were headed off to find Maggie- as they were on a military base.. and she was the only other woman & trusted adult besides Lennox & Epps. But the two would rather die than to ask them if they had pads.

Now that she thought about it.. did the straight white men who ran this operation even consider simple things like razors or pads? She really needed to talk to whoever made orders of stuff.

"They sent Sally Ride into space for six days." Em pursed her lips, "-And they gave her a hundred tampons."

The brunette snorted, "And the three who have been living here for five months now get whatever we brought and nothing else."

E shrugged, rolling out her shoulders and stretching a little bit with a frown. "I don't know, but if I have to go through the week with toilet paper shoved up my ass- I'm going to show someone that 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' should be a valid reason for assault."

Mikayla rolled her eyes, making the left they knew to be where Maggie resided. "I believe that being a female in itself is enough reason for violence."

Climbing up the stairs, E looked around the narrow hallway. This was the section of the base for guests & more important people resided. Maggie, Glenn, Lennox, Epps and a few others had rooms here. The girls were closer to the soldiers & the autobots, for obvious reasons.

Speaking of autobots. Ever since Skids & Mudflap had almost killed the two girls, they were almost never on base. And when they were here- for the smallest pauses of time, Ironhide & Jazz would make sure they never even came close to the two.

And in the words of Ironhide: "Touch them, and you'll be reporting to me."

They were still the idiotic, childish, stupid, vile, & annoying twins that they knew well, but they were a bit more reserved than usual. Which Mikayla didn't know how to feel about.

"Knock knock." E started, tapping on the door to the blonde's room lightly. Mikayla met the eye of the girl across from her, who made a cross-eyed face at the attention.

"Come in!" they heard in response, Maggie's voice as kind as always- her accent tying her personality together. "It's unlocked."

The two girls entered the room smiling awkwardly, and Mik shut the door behind them.

Maggie's room was pretty much almost like theirs- a bed tucked into the corner, a desk on the other side, two doors- one leading to a bathroom and another probably serving as a storage room. Maggie sat by the little kitchenette, staring at the two curiously.

"What's up?" she asked, finishing up what seemed to be a bowl of cereal.

E grimeced slightly, rocking back and forth on her heels. "We need some help."
