Arya.
I had always been an early riser, even as a teenager I never laid around in bed till noon. Not that I could have if I wanted to, Connor wouldn't allow it. Daniel on the other hand was not a morning person. Which lead me to the dilemma I had every morning, trying to wake him.
"Daaanniell. Wake up please." I whispered poking his cheek lightly. Daniel furrowed his brow, his lips curved into an adorable frown. His usual morning face, one I had grown to love in the past few days.
"Give me another hour." He mumbled rolling over. I let out an exasperated sigh not wanting to sit in bed for another hour and wait for him to get up.
"It's your house too, go downstairs and make yourself some coffee if you want. If you wanna smoke my weed is downstairs in the kitchen, there's a TV in the living room. I'll be down later love." Daniel mumbled before stuffing his head under his pillow. I slid off the bed and grabbed one of Daniel's sweatshirts out of the wardrobe. I tossed it on and quietly made my out of the bedroom. I stood on the landing for a moment before descending the stairs, listening to see if one of the guys was awake. I couldn't hear anything but the sounds of natures outside. I tiptoed down the stairs taking a right into the kitchen. I took a minute to admire the beautifully modern kitchen. The morning sun was just starting to peek up over the towering pines in front of the house. Bathing the entire cabin with a soft golden glow that seemed to illuminate the polished cedar wood. The kitchen was filled with sleek stainless steel appliances. A decent sized table beautifully carved from wood sat in the center of the room with a wooden bench on either side. Empty beer bottles, jars of weed, joints and ashtrays littered the table. But the most gorgeous feature had to have been the far left corner of the kitchen. The entire corner of the room was glass a sliding door leading to the back porch on one wall. The view was incredible, massive pine trees leading straight to the ocean. There were a few islands in the distance, but I couldn't see any other houses. There were no ships on the ocean, none I could see. Whoever built this house put a lot of time and money into this place, and they just gave it to him as a gift? I couldn't shake the feeling that something just wasn't adding up. There were still a few missing pieces to the puzzle that is Daniel Murphy, and I intended to find them.
Unfortunately my need for coffee was greater than mu curiosities about Daniel though. Time to figure out where everything is in this kitchen. I decided last night that I would make the boys' breakfast to thank them for the wonderful welcoming dinner. They called me their Luna, it was adorable. Although a pack of four rogues isn't much of pack. We were more like a family, which I definitely wanted more than a pack. What we had was absolutely perfect. We all had each others' backs. Plus if the boys argue like they did at dinner last night every night, I might die from laughter. It was like watching a cable without the television. I giggled to myself and began opening all the cabinets seeing what was where. I found coffee and sugar and began making a pot. Waiting for it to brew I grabbed everything I needed to make a big breakfast. They had enough food in here to feed an army. They probably just stocked up for a couple months. We must really have been in the middle of nowhere. I doubt there was a Wal-Mart fifteen minutes down the road. Once the coffee was done I made myself a cup. After I made my cup I took a moment to soak in the caffeine, cherishing that first sip. An incredibly loud sound came from below my feet. There was a strange clicking noise, then a deep humming noise. The floor gently vibrated below me.
What the hell is that?
I followed the humming sound to a small door just outside the kitchen by the stairs. Should I open the door? Part of me was screaming "Hell yes!" but the other was screaming it was complete invasion of privacy. Whatever was making that noise was definitely behind this door.
