Arya.

After breakfast Daniel and the boys insisted I let them do the dishes since I cooked for them. Reluctantly I went upstairs to Daniels's bathroom to take a shower. I had never cooked a meal then left the dishes for someone else, it gave me a sickening anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach. I felt like I was waiting for Connor to come stomping out if nowhere with a murderous look on his face. This whole not living in a shit hole anymore was really going to take some getting used to. I was about to get undressed when the door to Dan's bathroom burst open I screamed in shock practically jumping out of my skin.

"Shit! I'm sorry I should have knocked I'm such an idiot! Here's a towel!" Dan gave me an apologetic smile and handed me a big fluffy dark blue towel.

"It's okay." I sighed relieved it was only him.

"I'll be downstairs when you're done just wait for me in the kitchen and we'll head over to your brother's. Take your time, I've got all day."

"Okay." I smiled as he left the bathroom. I turned on the shower and stripped off the boxers and shirt Dan had let me borrow last night. He even let me wash my clothes I came with. I stepped into the large stand up shower and immediately fell in love. Water poured like rain from a large shower head on the ceiling above me. The shower itself was big enough to hold like four people. Never in my life had I been in a bathroom as nice as Daniel's, and he wanted me to live here with him. I couldn't help but ask myself, why me? My stomach was twisted in anxious knots thinking about facing Connor today. Would he just let me go? Every time I ran away he found me or one of his friends found me and dragged me back. But the biggest question on my mind was, what if Mason is there? Daniel told me to stop worrying about it, that he could handle anything they threw his way. But Dan didn't know Connor like I did, Connor is fucking crazy.

I just hope nothing bad happens, I don't want to lose my only friend.

I rinsed the conditioner out of my hair and stepped out of the shower shutting off the water. I grabbed the towel and quickly wrapped it around my body worried Daniel might burst in the door again. I poked my head out the bathroom door and looked around the bedroom Daniel was nowhere to be seen. I stepped into the room and grabbed my clothes off the bed pulling them on quickly. I walked out of Dan's room and made my way to the kitchen to wait for him like he asked. Jeremy was in the kitchen sitting at the counter with a large jar full of weed, an electric scale and a couple baggies.

"What's up?" I asked sitting on the stool next to him. He looked up from the scale for a second to smile then turned back to his marijuana.

"Doing some work. Gotta go drop these bags off to some customers make some money." Jeremy replied filling a bag with a decent amount of weed.

"So you all sell together?" I asked curious about how this whole drug dealing thing worked.

"Yeah, Peter and I usually take care of the small stuff you know? Like all the little teenie boppers who buy $20 bags and think they're so cool. Then there's the college kids who buy like around $200 worth on a good day. The parents who buy a little and hide it from their kids, then there's the few old ladies who smoke it for their back aches or stuff, we sell to some cancer patients too. But Daniel handles the big stuff."

"What do you mean big stuff? Like what?"

"Other dealers other states, big time buyers you know the kind who get pounds not ounces or grams." Jeremy never bothered to looked up from the weed he was weighing out. Daniel wasn't just some small town pot dealer like he made it out to be, he was into some serious shit. Suddenly the mysterious door in the kitchen burst open. Daniel's tall muscular frame blocked most of my view but I could tell the door led to some stairs, maybe a basement? He smiled at us quickly shutting the door locking the several locks on it with different keys from his key ring.
