Melanie's Pov: It was time to leave and I really just wanted to go to Niki and stay with her but I knew I couldn't. "Hey Melanie, It's gonna be great in Japan. Trust me when I first flew to Japan with your mother I was kinda scared because of the natural disasters that I saw on the news there but it really is great and there was a earthquake I do admit but it wasn't a dangerous one. You will meet so many new friends AND your family in Japan." My father really tried convincing me that it's gonna be great but it never worked. I just wanted to stay here in Germany with all of my friends!

--2 years later-- "Melanie come down please!" I heard my mother shout for me again. "Yes mom?" "Please don't be so mad at me again but we will move to the US in 2 weeks." "Wait what? But why?" "Your father and I have decided to try living in the US and if everything works we will stay there but if not we will come back to Japan or Germany." "But what about your business?" "Oh yeah I quit my job. BUT I found a new one in the US!" "Oh that's great Mom! And this time I'm not so mad at you mom. I didn't like it here so much anyways."
Oof I'm glad we are getting out of here. My classmates make fun of me for dressing the way I do and there are so many weird dudes in this city
After packing all my important things I went downstairs and walked to the park nearby where me and my friend, Aiko. She was one of my classmates who didn't judge me for how I dress and she's very nice! I became friends with her when she defended me from bully's.
"So you wanted to meet me here?" Aiko asks. "Oh yes, my mother just told me that we are moving to the US in 2 weeks." "Well I hope you will have a great life in the US! I'm happy you won't be having to deal with these bullies anymore." Oh god now I feel bad.
After we talked and went for a walk I decided to go home and just go to bed since I was tired.
--a couple of years later-- After moving in this apartment with my Bestfriend Delilah I decided to work at a bakery and to my surprise I was pretty good at it.
BEEP BEEP BEEP Ugh I hate my alarm clock. Another day of doing absolutely nothing but watch YouTube and Netflix and of course eat. Its September and the bakery I'm working at wasn't open this week because of some issues. "Good Morning Delilah" "Girl it's 1pm. When did you sleep yesterday" "Don't pretend like you don't have a fucked up sleep schedule too" "Ah shit you got me. Anyways I made breakfast, I know it's pancakes again but I had no idea what to do else so just eat it."
To be honest her pancakes weren't that bad so I might have ate 6 pancakes...that's normal right? "Hey Mel wanna go meet our new neighbor?" "Oh yeah I forgot. Sure" I completely forgot that a person just moved in next to our apartment. The only thing I know is that it's a boy and that he apparently streams on Twitch. Interesting..
"Wait I have a good idea!" Delilah suddenly says "What?" "We can make cupcakes as a welcoming gift!" "Hmm you know what I'm gonna do it myself since you are the worst baker ever. You are talking to a professional one" "Not gonna lie I don't even mind. I'm just gonna do my own present then since you are for some reason right..."
I could make some chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate frosting! Well I hope he likes chocolate
Add some berries on top and BAM! The cupcakes are done. I am very proud of myself! They look delicious !
