Chapter 25: 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑧𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛

Melanie's Pov:
I'm not sure what Karl is planning to do but with the look on his face he must be worried.
The only thing I can think about is how Jane must've given Karl the piece of paper. I mean she kept staring at Karl and even wrote something while her friend was eating her dessert.

I don't really want to admit it but I'm really curious and a little worried that Karl is going to meet up with Jane. Maybe something bad will happen and Karl will run home crying.. maybe I'm overreacting about that but I'm still very curious.

I ask Delilah if we could wait for Karl and she nods.

"Why tho?" She asks.
"What if Karl is going to talk to Jane or meet up with her?" I asked in a worried tone.
Karl was in the bathroom so we didn't have to whisper to quietly.
"Hmm true..I saw her giving the waitress, that gave Karl the piece of paper something. It must've been from her!"
"I'm sure he won't mind if we just watch from a far if he actually meets up Jane" I might regret it but I just want to make sure that nothing bad will happen.

Karl's POV:
I come back from the bathroom and see that Melanie and Delilah. Jane and her friend also already left so I guess Jane is waiting for me.

You can do it Karl..you're probably just overreacting the whole time..

I leave the restaurant and start to walk to the bridge we were planning to meet.

Delilah's Pov:
We were waiting near the bridge behind a wall waiting for Karl. We already saw Jane and I must say, she is really gorgeous but probably only from the outside.

Melanie tells me that Karl finally arrived so now we both are looking at them behind a wall.

Karl looked down at his feet probably not wanting to look at Jane.

3rd person POV:
"H-hey" Jane starts to speak and Karl still tried to avoid eye contact.
"So why did you want to meet me?" He asks stubbornly.
"Oh uh I know you probably still won't forgive me after all these years but I just want to apologize. I want to apologize for all the mistakes I made. And I'm really sorry for breaking our relationship. I don't want to beg too much but could you maybe forgive me and maybe start over?"

Karl wasn't sure what he should do so he thought for a second before hugging her.

It felt so nice to be in Karl's arms again.

Jane was more than happy and when they stepped back he gave her a small smile. He finally forgave her after all these years.

Melanie and Delilah just watched and they were confused.

But something just made Melanie break in tears. It was something no one really expected from the 3 of them.

Melanie had no idea why she would cry over that but it was just so hard to see. I'm sure he didn't even wanted to kiss Jane..
But he didn't push her away did he?

Karl's POV:
I felt Jane's lips on mine and it took me too long to realize who I was actually kissing.
I pushed away immediately in disgust and now I knew that she didn't change.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I was trying not to yell but it just made my blood boil.
"I-I him sorry..I didn't think when doing that." She definitely knew what she was doing.

I just ran. She really had the guts to kiss me after I forgave her for cheating on me.

3rd person POV:
Melanie was still running and after running for a while and not knowing where she was going she took a deep breath and looked around her.
She was in the park that she and Karl had their first ice cream together, where they have so many memories and where they met Jane of course.

Tears were still running down her face and even tho she didn't want to admit it.
She really was in love with Karl huh?
I mean why else would you cry because your Bestfriend kissed someone else?

She sat down on a bench and just kept asking herself if she liked Karl more than a friend or not.. she did start to develop some feelings but they would disappear after a while, that's all she thought would happen but they never disappeared, they just started to grow.

She tried to calm down but then it started to rain and she heard a loud thunder.

That's when she finally realized everything.
She is inlove with Karl.
It's not just a small crush.
Karl has been always there for Melanie even if they had a fight, he always protected her, they always cuddled when they had the chance to and the way they looked at eachother. They were both deeply inlove but didn't notice it yet.

Karl was meanwhile just running back to the restaurant where he also found Delilah standing in front of him.

"What was that?" Delilah asked and Karl looked up at her confused.
"D-did you see everything?" He asks worried and she nods.
"I forgave Jane but then s-she just kissed me?!"
"But you stood there and you didnt even pushing away until after like 10 seconds or so? Did you enjoy it Karl?"
"N-no! I didn't realize who I was with and I-I just don't know! I regret agreeing to meet up with her"

"Well we have to find Melanie now. She ran away crying after Jane kissed you!"
"W-what? She ran away crying? But why would she do that?" He asks her.
"Ugh you guys are so blind! It's so obvious that you guys love eachother! Just look at how you and Melanie look at eachother. You. Guys. Are. In. Love. But you dumbfucks are too blind to see that!" Delilah was almost yelling and it scared Karl.

Karl was still confused about his feelings but he wanted to talk to Melanie. He wanted to talk about his feelings. How happy she made him. And how much she meant to him.

"Let's split up. It's going to be faster that way. You have your phone with you right?" Delilah asked and he nods so they both walk opposite ways.

It started to rain when he checked near the park he was planning to look at after. He didn't care if he would get all wet he just wanted to find Melanie and Tell her everything.

Soon he entered the park that was empty until he found a black and pink haired girl sitting on a bench with her hands covering her face. Was that Melanie?

He ran up to that person and Melanie heard footsteps approaching her so she looked up to see Karl running up to her.

She tried to wipe away the tears and act normal but it didn't work.

"M-Melanie?" He asks and hugs her.
"Karl? W-what Are you Doing here haha" she faked laughed trying not to sound suspicious.
"We were looking for you! Why did you run away?" He knew why she ran away but he was confused why she would run away because of a Kiss.

"I-I was just trying to take a walk alone?" She didn't had a good excuse so Karl just continued hugging her.

Him hugging her made Melanie feel so safe and comfortable. She especially loves the warm and nice fabric from Karl's sweather. His sweathers were always so comfortable and warm.

"I'm sorry Melanie" he murmured.
"For what?"
"For kissing Jane" he didn't even want to say this sentence out loud but he had to.
She began tearing up again.
"I'm sure you will be more happier with her." Karl was confused why she would say that.
"What do you mean? I don't like Jane and even tho I forgave her she just made me even more mad. I wasn't thinking when she kissed me but when I finally realized I pushed her away from me immediately."

"My heart already belongs to another girl."
