Chapter 3: 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔

Melanie's Pov:
There's no way that she has been sleeping on the floor the whole time.

What is wrong with this girl

"Hey hey! Wake up!"
"Ugh fine. Wait have I been sleeping on the floor the whole time?" She asks.
"Well it looks like it but why  I thought you were going to make a gift or something"
"Im lazy." Well if I am honest I should've expected this from her.

As we were walking to our new neighbors door I kinda felt nervous. Maybe because it was a boy? Well our other neighbors are also boys and I wasn't as nervous when meeting them. It doesn't matter I should just introduce myself, give my present and then say goodbye. Yes that's good!

"Should I knock?" Delilah asks cause she obviously saw that I was nervous.
"Uh sure"

"Hi you should be our new neighbor right?" Delilah asks with a sweet tone in her voice. That was unusual.
"Yeah, I'm Karl. It's nice to meet you guys"
His giggle at the end was...cute

no no that is weird you guys just met but it was cute tho right?

"It's nice to meet you too! My name is Delise but you can call me Delilah and this is my roommate Melanie"
"Hi I'm Melanie but you can call me Mel. Uhm I made these cupcakes for you as a welcoming gift!" I was handing him the cupcakes and he accidentally touched my hand but I put my hand back.
"Thank you so much but you really didn't have to do this! I'm sure they taste great. What if you both come in?"
There was this awkward silence because I didn't know if I should say yes or no.
"We would love to." Delilah finally said.
"Alright come in!" Karl says

"It's really good decorated. I'm impressed"
I was saying it out loud without knowing.
"Huh? Oh yeah my friends helped me with it."
"Didn't know you had friends.." Delilah says for some reason.
"Hey! I have many friends, probably more than you"
"Sorry she's always like that...just roasting people even if she just met them" I said trying to not make a bad first impression for Delilah.
"Shut the fuck up" and there she is again. The girl who doesn't give a shit and swears as a hobby. That's what she said at least.

"I thought you were a sweet girl when I first heard and saw you but never mind I guess."

We were talking in his kitchen and ate some cupcakes. He said the cupcakes were good and that I should teach him how to bake. I gladly said yes.

"Oh and I'm also a Twitch streamer! I sometimes stream Minecraft with my friends on my friends SMP the Dream SMP! But I still stream other games" Karl says with a big smile.
"That Must be fun! I used to play Minecraft with my old bestfriend but then I stopped." I say and it makes me just miss Niki more.

I wonder how she is doing today and if she still plays Minecraft since we played a lot, like a lot.

"I heard of Minecraft before but I never played it." Delilah doesn't play that many video games so I'm not surprised.

--2h later--

"Ugh I have to go already but you can stay here if Karl is fine with it." I'm not sure what she has to do now but I don't care right now.
"I'm fine with her staying here. Do you wanna stay or?"
"Oh I can stay I don't really have anything to do so yeah" I'm not even lying it was true. I had nothing to do expect for binge watching Series on Netflix so it would've been better for me to stay here.

"So how old are you?" Karl says and with that breaking the silence after Delilah left.
"I'm 19 but I will turn 20 soon."
"Ohhh I'm 20 and when is your birthday?"
"My birthday is on the 11th of October what about you?"
"Mine is on the 19th of July!"

We talked for a while telling some stuff about us until he asked:

"I know we just met but wanna hang out some time? You seem like a really cool person!"
I was surprised because people would usually judge me for my outfits and looks but I really appreciated it so I took the chance and said yes.

"Cool! Do you have time this Saturday? You can choose what to do."
"I don't know we could hang out in the park nearby and maybe eat ice cream."

2 Updates a day? Woah POG!
I'm not going to make them fall in love instantly cause I really don't like these kind of Fanfics. :)
