It was Saturday and Melanie was excited to show Karl the park.
They have texted everyday and even made a groupchat with Delilah in it.

"What should I wear?" Melanie asks Delilah. "Bitch I dont know wear something normal."
"WHAT IS NORMAL??" "Wear what you usually wear." Delilah says with a serious tone and face. "are you sure?" "Yes yes Karl won't judge you I know it." Delilah seemed pretty confident about it so I trusted her.

"how do I look like?" Melanie says as she makes model poses. "you look AMAZING!" Delilah replies with a loud scream at the end.
"why do you even care so much?? I mean you guys are just going outside... ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPRESS HIM?" She asks with actual curiosity in her voice.
"NO OF COURSE NOT! It's just that I haven't gone outside for a while and I'm kinda scared people will look at me weird again." Melanie has experienced a lot of racism and bullying because she was Asian and because she dressed "weird".
"Hey it's ok, if anybody is mean to you tell me everything you know about them and I will beat the shit out of them."
"Thank you so much Delise" Everytime she says her real name its definitely serious.
"No problem boo" she hugs Mel and blows a kiss.

And so Melanie left the apartment and knocked on Karls Door.
"Hey Mela-" He stops and looks at Melanie. This time she didn't wear a Sweater. "Is everything Ok?" She asks him with a worried face. "Uhm sorry Its just that you are wearing something I haven't seen you ever wear. "Oh yeah I usually don't wear these outfits in public.." "Well you look beautiful!" He says with a genuine smile.
"Thanks Karl, it means a lot."
"I like this Park so far its beautiful." "Told ya. Not many people are here at the moment so that's even better. I like it this way."
They walked around the Park and ate some Ice Cream until a weird looking guy came up to Melanie and said:
"Hey what is a pretty young girl like you doing with THAT guy? You should come with me and we are gonna have some fun." he winked at Melanie and that's where Karl stepped in.
"Leave her alone." He says it with the most serious tone she has ever heard of him.
"What is a guy like you gonna do to me? Piss off"
Tears came down Melanie's face as she felt the a hand grabbing her hip.
"Im not gonna say it one more time again. Leave her alone and Piss off."
"dont touch me you fucking pervert!" Melanie snapped and she had enough of all of this. She was tired of being mocked and getting picked on. She was tired of being judged and getting weirdlooks for how she dresses. And she definitely tired of getting sexualharassed.
"aw what's wrong baby? Don't you like this?" As he tried kissing Melanie Karl came between them and pushed the guy on the floor.
That guy stood up and ran away.
"It's ok now Mel...you are safe now." Karl hugs Melanie so tight and the only thing that comes out of her mouth is
"thank you."
They stand there for what feels like hours and he just comforts her while saying: "it's ok"
"Here have my sweater its getting cold." He handed her his sweater and she refuses saying he should take it since he is gonna get cold too.
"no no please take it you need it more than I do."
They walked home and he decided to stay over at Melanie.
Now that was a rollercoaster of emotions 👍🏻 You know what I did when I saw the state tiny Wilbur was in when he said "Me me hungry" I decided to eat at least something (ex: a piece of bread) and now I'm not scared to be in tiny Wilburs situation anymore
