Chapter 15: 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒

Melanie's Pov:
Me and Karl arrive in the parking lot infront of the mall and I wait for him to get out.

"You ready to go? If you don't want to I can drive you home again" he asks me with a worried face and I smile at him saying:
"With you here I feel more safe so it's ok"

I see Karl getting red and I guess I made him flustered. He looks cute when he's flustered.

He gulps telling me to follow him.
He apparently was already in this mall so he knows where most of the shops and restaurants are so I just follow him.

"I haven't been in this mall for months." I tell him and he looks to me in the eyes and when I catch him he quickly looks away and I giggle.

We go to the first clothes shop and I already see a cute sweater that would look good on Karl.

"Hey this would look good on you!" I point to the sweater and he looks at it getting closer.
"I mean if you say so. I could try it on" he replies and I look for more clothes for him.

He comes out of the dressing room that I have been waiting in front of.

I look at him and he looks gorgeous. He always wears sweaters but this one fits him very well.

I realize that I have been staring for a while so he says:
"Take a picture, it will last longer" and giggles.
I roll my eyes and walk closer to him to look at the sweater better.

We decide to buy that sweater and a few others. We also got two pair of jeans and a few t shirts.
I also get myself a sweater, a pair of jeans, a black and white skirt and a hoodie.

We already have 4 full bags so we go to the nearest Mc Donalds and order our food.

After eating we walk outside the mall and look for our car. I have the lightest bags and Karl has the heaviest. We find Karl's car and put our bags inside.

While he's driving I play my Spotify playlist with maybe too many Melanie Martinez songs in it but that doesn't matter.

"This song reminds me of the reason why Bad doesn't curse" he says as the song
Soap - Melanie Martinez plays.
"Oh why is that?" I ask him.
"He said that he has cursed when he was a child and his mother once washed out his mouth with soap. I'm not sure if that's actually true but he never told me"
I look at him with my jaw wide open and my eyes opened in shock.

I know you maybe shouldn't curse at a young age but washing out your sons mouth because of it? Too far Bruv.

We continue to vibe and dance around to the music I have in my playlist. I tell him multiple times to focus on the streets but he continues to ignore it and dance around.

Delilah's Pov:
It's only a few days till Melanie's Birthday and I have already visited Niki everytime I could. I have gotten closer to her and she is a great friend!

We talk through FaceTime sometime also trying to plan the birthday party but mostly just to get to know each other and talk about random stuff.

She talks about her friends and about the Dream SMP, it's a Surviver Muliplayer server or something like that.

She also talks about how happy and grateful she is when the members include her into the conversations she's mostly just listening to, like her friend or Karl's Bestfriend Quackity.

His real name is Alex and he's Mexican and he's 19 years old.

Melanie's Pov:
Tomorrow is my birthday which I completely forgot again.

In the past days me and Karl have been hanging out every day and have gotten even more closer. He really is my Bestfriend now and Im glad that me and Karl are friends.

I did made him fluster a couple of times and honestly it's cute.

Delilah also has been hanging out with us multiple times but she has also been doing some other stuff with her friends.

I haven't told Karl about my birthday yet and I don't really want to. I'm scared he will buy me too many things and I don't know how to accept them.

At the moment Karl is recording a video with his friends for a new Mr. Beast Video.
I did get the chance to talk to Mr. Beast and I was kinda nervous.

Delilah is at her friends house and I'm just sitting in my room trying to think of something to draw.

Delilah's POV:
Niki is right next to me and we are just chatting about random things.

"So I'm gonna distract Melanie tomorrow and then Karl is going to pick you up and you guys are going to set everything up and then I will come home early and Melanie will come some time later." I tell her our plan again.

"Yup! The cake is also done thanks to Karl! I'm gonna thank him again for letting me bake the cake in his kitchen." She giggles and I smile at her.

A phone is suddenly ringing and I look around to look for the phone and it's Niki's.

"Wilbur? Who's that?" I ask her.
"Oh that's my friend!" She says grabbing the phone and picking up.
She goes away and I wait for her till she's done.

"Ok bye!" I hear her coming for wards me and I look at her.
"He was just asking how everything is going since I told him about our plans"
"Oh ok!"

I soon go to my apartment and see Karl standing in front of the elevator.

"Hey Karl" I jump from behind and he looks around quickly with his eyes wide open.
"Jesus don't do that again" he says and I laugh my ass off entering the elevator.
He still looks terrified.

HOLIDAYS STARTED BUT ITS GONNA BE A BUSY WEEK BECAUSE I STILL HAVE MISSING HOMEWORK
ANYWAYS I BROKE UP WITH MY BF TODAY AFTER HE ASKED FOR NUDES AND IM SO HAPPY BECAUSE I WANTED TO BREAK UP WITH HIM FOR WEEKS
