Karl's POV: I drive Niki to the hotel so she can pick up some of her stuff. I never really went on a sleepover that had only girls invited but I feel pretty comfortable with them so I don't mind.
Im not sure where we are sleeping but I wouldn't mind falling asleep, cuddled up with Melanie, you know..
"Sooo Karl" Niki starts to speak and I turn to her seeing that she has a confused face. "Yeah?" "Are you and Melanie...uhh together? You don't have to answer that! Just a question" Oh I already know that I got red but I try my best to act normal. "No" I reply. Just a short answer and she nods slowly.
"Why did you ask?" I probably shouldn't have said that but I'm quite curious. "Oh I saw how you looked at her the whole time and Melanie also told me a lot of good things about you when we were making the cupcakes. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.." she apologizes and I give her a small smile. "It's ok. Many people would probably assume that but the same thing happened to you and Wilbur, right?" Wilbur and Niki were shipped most of the time and they may looked like a couple but they are just bestfriends.
She nods and says this: "What if we call Will? Oh wait it's pretty late.." she's right. It's 9:45pm so it's about 2:45am for Wilbur. "What about Quackity? Do you have his number?" I ask her and she nods calling his number.
"Hey Niki" I hear Alex say through the phone. "Hello Alex, Karl is right next to me right now, you can say hi" "Eyyyyy Karlos! How are you doing with ya girl?" He says ironically and me and Niki start to laugh. "We just had this cool birthday party and it was so much better without you" I say and Niki starts to laugh more. "Karl, that's not funny. Stop laughing! It's not funny" he's being defensive again but I don't blame him.
We all three chat more until me and Niki arrive at the hotel. Before arriving we decided to go at the ice cream shop nearby that was still open with Quackity still on the phone.
"Alright I have to go now. Byeeeee" Alex says and we both say our goodbyes.
Niki opens her door and her hotel room is very cleaned. I can see her luggage and she gets a backpack and starts putting her most important stuff in it.
"Are you done?" I ask her and she turns around nodding. I turn off the lights and she locks her door. We go inside the elevator and we both vibe to the elevator music.
Melanie's Pov: Me and Delilah just vibe around with the songs we played on our music box. She keeps playing Girl in Red but I don't mind.
I hear a knock on our door and assume it's Karl and Niki. Delilah opens the door and it's our friend/neighbor. She's very nice and we sometimes talk with eachother while going on a walk.
"Oh I'm sorry is our music too loud? We can turn it down" I immediately say seeing her at the door. She seems sleepy so I apologize. "Yeah that would be great. I'm very busy tomorrow so thanks for turning it down. Oh and I completely forgot! It's your birthday Melanie! Happy birthday, I'm sorry for being so late but still happy birthday" We both hug eachother and she goes back to her door opening it and entering her apartment.
"Maybe we should just turn off the music instead of turning it down." I suggest and Delilah nods disconnecting her phone from the music box.
Since we didn't had to do anything we decided to clean up the place. Most of the stuff was already gone but there were still birthday decorations that had to be cleaned.
After about 15 min we heard someone knocking again and this time it has to be Karl and Niki.
I walk to the door and peak through the little hole. Karl and Niki stand in front of the door, both holding a backpack.
After they come in we all decide to sleep in my room because it's the biggest room besides the living room. The living room is still a little bit dirty.
"Alright children let's go into my room!" I say and they all follow me into my room. They put down their backpacks and I look around trying to find a good spot for everyone to sleep at.
My bed is still as an option but that would be rude from me to be the only one to sleep on the good and comfortable bed while the others sleep on the floor.
The others helped me look for a spot for everyone and they start to unpack their things like a blanket, pillow and their clothes.
I watch Karl unpack a frog hoodie and you don't know how fast I ran to him and took the frog hoodie. Everybody was looking at me weird and I just took the hoodie and put it in my closet without asking Karl.
"What was that?" Delilah asks and looks at me and Karl weird. Karl shrugs his shoulders probably also very confused. "Oh that hoodie is too cute I couldn't resist so I just took it" I walk to Karl and pat him on his head since he's crouching trying to unpack his stuff. "Thanks Karl for bringing this. It's mine now"
Karl giggles and I walk back to my bed and sit down waiting for the others to unpack.
I'm feeling like a queen right now so I don't bother not helping. A normal thing for me to do.
"Wanna play a board game? I have monopoly" I say after they are finally done unpacking and putting down their things. "Sure! Can I be a player and the banker?" Niki asks and we all nod.
"Alright, play now?" I ask and they again all nod.
Currently rewatching Fundy's stream and saw this. I never thought there could've been any worse option for this game.
