Chapter 29: 𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑

Delilah's Pov:
Karl and Melanie weren't in their room when I went to check on them so I looked around the apartment but they were no where to be seen.

Suddenly I hear a knock on the door.
Who could that be?

"Mel?" Melanie was standing in front of the door and behind her was, from what I think, Karl.

"What were you two doing?" I ask them.
"Oh we were just on the roof watching the sun rise. It was really beautiful." Melanie looks like she was crying but it's not that bad anymore.

"Well its time to eat breakfast. I was expecting you to make some but eh nevermind." I decide to make pancakes since it was quick and simple. It tasted really good as well in the end!

Melanie's Pov:
I wanted to tell Karl or Delise what happened in my dream but I don't know if they would care enough..

Of course they would! They are my best friends, well one of them is now my boyfriend.

"And soooooooooo yall are..?" Delilah asks and me and Karl look at eachother.

"Yup." I simply answer and Karl gives me this one smile he has always given me. I found it cute since the beginning.

"Well please don't do this stuff in front of me, I ain't gonna watch that shit."

"Shut up"

--after breakfast--

Karl's POV:
Me and Melanie haven't planned on doing something yet but I heard that Delilah's friend is coming over. Her name is Song-I or just Rose.

Apparently Delilah has a small crush on her. Let's hope she will get her 😈

"What do you wanna do now?" Melanie asks me while we are waiting for Delilah's friend.

"Hmm..well I'm not sure but I'll have to go set up my stream later because I have planned to  do an EU friendly Jackbox stream with some Dream SMP members." I answer her.

"Oh that must be Rosé!" We hear Delilah say and she comes out of her room pretty much dressed up.

Me and Melanie greet Rosé and she bows in front of us.

"Well we are going to the park now, but we'll come home very soon." Delilah takes Rosé out and we wave at eachother again before they leave.

"She's really pretty!" Mel tells me and I look away.
"Stop being a crybaby Karl, I would never leave you just because someone is prettier."
"ARE YOU SAYING SHES PRETTIER?" I shout and she nods.

"It's almost 11am, what could we do? I'm really bored." I ask her.
"I honestly have no idea. We could maybe just go to the cafe we went last time. I miss Jiang."

"That's a Great idea! Keep up the ideas Melanie Martinez!" I say in a joking way and she laughs.

--at the Café--

"JIAAAAA!!" Melanie screeches as soon as she opens the door.

"MELANIE! Nice seeing you again! How has it been?" Jia asks her while waving at me.

"Well, things have been great! Me and Karl are you know.." I giggle and Jia looks at us both confused.
"We are together Jia. Use your brain please" Jia proceeds to push Melanie out of the cafe while I'm looking for a table for us.

--after cafe thing--

We take a walk in the neighborhood and see a few kids playing in their yard. Some of them were even fans of me and asked for a picture or autograph. They were all so nice to us.

I also noticed this huge tree in some kids yard.
Mans was playing one of Quackity's video under his tree. Very proud of him.

"Stop looking at that kid and continue walking with me Karl." Melanie says and I look back to that boy only to see him stare back.

As we arrive at our apartment building again, we see Delilah and Song-I at the front door so we walk up to them.

"Wanna play some board games?" Delilah asks as we all go up the elevator and everyone shakes their head which leaves Delilah with a sad face.

"I hate y'all."
"That's not what you exactly told us last night, Delise." Melanie answers back not even looking in Delilah's direction with a smirk on her face.
It took me a second to realize what she just said and Rosé just looked at us lol confused.

Poor girl not knowing what's going on.

"Don't ever talk to me again. I will kill you in your sleep and I'll make sure Karl comes with you." Delise tells us in the most serious tone ever.

At this point Rosé just laughed at us all.

--a few hours later--

Song-I decided to stay over for one night and Delilah was so happy she even hugged me and Melanie.

"Calm your tiddies Delise." Melanie says as Delilah is squishing Melanie's

"Well, I have to start setting up my stream now! It was great meeting you Rosé!" I say before leaving the apartment and entering my apartment.

I really just hope that me and Melanie won't ever break up. She is my everything and if anyone tries to do something bad to her, I will keep fighting for her until she's safe.
