The Perfect Arrangement ~ Taiora AU

~ Chapter 16 ~

Taichi smiled as he was glad that their football team had won once again. He was able to help lead the team to victory and that made him so very happy. It made him so happy because he was glad that the team was allowing him to be a leader. However, what Taichi didn't know was that the team was glad to have him as their leader while on the field. The other teens knew that Taichi wouldn't steer them wrong in the directions of the game; that's why they trusted his judgment so much. However, they knew that they didn't have to tell Taichi this as they could tell that it made him so happy because of them trusting him.

The football team was glad that Taichi was a leader and they wouldn't have it any other way.

~ Timeskip ~

It was later on in the day that Taichi had found himself being tended to by Sora as he didn't notice that he had gotten a cut on his leg. Sora held up a cotton ball and she gently dabbed his leg, cleaning the cut. Despite the stinging he felt, Taichi didn't react other than a slight wince. After Sora had put a band-aid on the cut, he smiled at her, feeling better already. "Thanks, Sora." He then prepared to get up from the chair but Sora quickly stopped him. 

"Oh no, mister. You're going to stay here and rest. I won't allow you to overwork yourself, Taichi." Sora tells him and Taichi then softly smiled at her, knowing that Sora wanted nothing but the best for her. 

"Of course, Sora." He told her and Sora then huffed. 

"If you're so quick to run now, hopefully when we get married, you'll calm down." Sora begged him and that was when Taichi had heard her plea. Crap! She does want me to run the company; I just need to take time out to relax. Taichi thought as he pulled Sora closer to him, his hands on her waist as he wanted to tell her how much he really loved her when his lips helped him convey his message as he lovingly kissed Sora. 

Sora melted into the kiss and when Taichi's mother had come into the living room, she saw the sight and she softly smiled, leaving them alone for the moment as she didn't want to interrupt the two lovebirds. When the two teens had departed from each other, Sora noticed that she had sat in Taichi's lap the entire time and she blushed at the fact. Taichi smiled at how cute Sora was. She's so cute. He thought. 

Taichi pulled Sora even more closely as he hugged her. Sora allowed herself to hug Taichi back as she knew that this was going to be a part of their perfect arrangement...

And it was indeed perfectly arranged.
