The Perfect Arrangement ~ Taiora AU

~ Chapter 7 ~

After dinner had been served and dishes have been washed, Taichi and Sora were talking about sleeping arrangements. "If it makes you feel better, Sora, you don't have to sleep right next to me." Taichi tells Sora and the young woman was glad at how caring Taichi was towards her but she also wondered how it would feel to sleep right next to Taichi. 

"Maybe we can do a trial run to see how we both would like it?" Sora asked Taichi and the young man agreed with her words as he hoped that his wild sleeping wouldn't disturb Sora throughout the night as they both departed from each other to get ready for bed. Sora was in pink pajamas while Taichi was wearing a white shirt with blue shorts. When both of them arrived at Taichi's bed, they both blushed as they looked away. How are we going to do this? They both thought as they made eye contact with each other before their blushes turned even more heavier. 

They were both being very awkward with it but they knew that they won't do anything to the other because of their young age but it was just the thought of literally sleeping that embarrassed the two teens because they knew that they held feelings for each other but they didn't want to act on those feelings because they both felt that they were too young to do so, even if they were engaged. "Shoot, what do I tell Yamato?" Taichi asked aloud all of the sudden as he had suddenly remembered that he tells Yamato mostly everything as he was his best friend. Sora then smiled at him as she sat beside him. 

"You can tell him about the arrangement, Taichi. It...would be good for you to talk about with a trusted friend." She tells Taichi and the teen hummed a bit. 

"I don't want anyone to overhear it and hurt you because of it, though." Taichi tells Sora, who smiled at how caring and protective Taichi was towards her. 

"Don't worry, Taichi. I will be fine." Sora promised Taichi as she laid down beside the still sitting up teen. "Don't worry yourself to the point where you can't sleep." She warned Taichi before she had fallen into an easy sleep. Taichi smiled down at her as his eyes had softened at he stared at her. So beautiful. He thought as he laid down as well. 

Sleep came easy for him, something that he had appreciated since he had known that Sora had helped him out with sleeping without being too worried about things. He knew that Sora didn't want him to worry too much about things out of his control.
