After prompting Katsuki to try and get a better answer out of him to to avail, Eijirou and Izuku exchanged a worried glance as if saying they'd talk about it later and went back to join Katsuki and eat their deserts.
They quickly decided to drop the topic and avoid asking any more questions as they had already pissed Katsuki off enough and didn't want him to be in a bad mood during the rest of their date.
After some time, the tension in the air had finally cleared and they went back to talking freely, but Katsuki's very focused scowl hardly seemed to fade. And although it worried the boys a lot more than they cared to admit, there wasn't much they could do about it until they reached the confines of their apartment to talk it out among themselves.
The mood was partly gloomy after that but they tried their best to act like nothing had happened.
Soon, their date ended and it was time for them to go home. Katsuki started to walk them home when Izuku started to call his name. A car was passing by at an unnatural speed and he needed to stop him before he got hit. But he didnt hear his name being called, or the driver of the car screaming at him to move so Eijirou had to jerk him back so he didnt get hit. Well now, there was definitely a reason to panic thought the duo in their head as they sent questioning glares to their hot headed boyfriend.
He ignored their questioning glances and told them, "I'm just a bit lost in though is all" before shrugging his shoulders and sticking his hands into his pockets and strode off by himself down the street. The duo scrambled after him and they quickly reached their apartment door.
They had school at UA the next day so bakugo had to go to sleep early that day. Katsuki gave them each a kiss on their foreheads before slipping out the door and disappearing out of sight.
The boys looked at eachother and frowned, There was a lot they needed to discuss about their boyfriends behavior that day and they had no idea where to even start. .
