Bakugo had just reached home after his date and he had a lot of things in mind.
He wanted to know why all this was happening to him and he wanted to know now. He didn't like this feeling of being weak and powerless and he knew that if people found out what was happening to him, they'd use it to their advantage.
NO. HE WAS NOT GOING TO BE WEAK. He will go to the doctor right now and check what's happening with him. He may be ignorant at times but he knows when he really needs help and bakugo knew that he was going to need a doctors help to figure this out for him this time.
It was already pretty late but since bakugo didn't want to waste any more time not knowing, he locked the house doors and set off for the doctors office. Not long after, he reached the clinic and filled out a form with his symptoms. He then asked a nearby nurse how long the checkup would take. She told him it would be an hour or two so he decided to get comfortable till he was called up for his turn.
About half an hour later, he was called up for his checkup. They took a bunch of tests and checked his ears. About 45 minutes later, they finished and sent him back outside to await the results of the test.
It seemed like forever but he was finally called back up to receive his test results and prescription. He hurriedly read through the paper and his heart dropped...
If he was reading this correctly then that means that he was going deaf? In both ears? Because of his quirk?? Something called tinnitus??? No.... This can't be right... There must be some kind of mistake. This can't be happening to him. It has to be a joke... RIGHT?
Bakugo's whole life started to crash around him. Had he worked so hard for nothing? Was his hero work going to end here? Would they even let him study in UA once they figured out he was deaf? He was such a pathetic freak.
Soon he had started hyperventilating and was having a full blown panic attack. The nurses had to give him anesthesia to calm his nerves down. ____________________
At around 5am he finally started stirring. By now, he'd started to think clearly and had gotten over the shock. He quickly got out of the hospital bed and left for home. As soon as he reached his house, he sent a quick message to Aizawa Sensei before he started getting ready for school.
He would need to lay low for some time. It'll be a piece of cake he thought to himself, it'll all be fine. .
