Summer Planning

Sirius' Point of View:

"I TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE FORBIDDEN TO CONTACT ANDROMEDA AGAIN! NOW I FIND OUT YOU HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH HER AFTER SHE WAS DISOWNED!" Mother shrieked at me, while father leaned against the wall looking at me with the utmost distaste.

The feeling was mutual.

"DISOWNED FOR MARRYING SOMEONE SHE LOVED, UNLIKE BELLATRIX WHO IS NOW STUCK IN A LOVELESS MARRIAGE! AND FOR WHAT? BLOOD PURITY!" I yelled back.

"ANDROMEDA BETRAYED THIS FAMILY WHEN SHE MARRIED A FILTHY MUDBLOOD AND HAD A HALF BLOOD DAUGHTER!" Mother shrieked back.

"IS FOLLOWING YOUR HEART SUCH A BETRAYAL?" I hollered.

"IT IS WHEN YOU GO AGAINST YOUR UPBRINGING AND YOUR FAMILIES WISHES! WE ARE THE MOST NOBALE AND ANCIENT HOUSE OF BLACK AND WITH THAT COMES OBLIGATIONS!" Mother shouted, shaking with fury.

"I NEVER ASKED TO BE BORN A BLACK AND BE DRAGGED INTO ALL THIS NONSENSE!" I yelled.

"I DON'T KNOW WHERE WE WENT WRONG WITH YOU SIRIUS! I BARELY RECOGNISE YOU AS MY OWN SON! NO SON OF MINE WILL BE A FILTHY BLOOD TRAITOR!" Mother screamed.

"OH, BELIEVE ME THE LACK OF SENTIMENT IS VERY MUCH RETURNED!" I yelled, grabbing my trunk, broom and owl cage that I always kept packed.

I rushed to the fireplace, using the floo powder to go to James as quickly as I could so Mother wouldn't be able to use the Cruciatus Curse.

I soon found myself in the Potters living room. I saw Mr Potter sitting on the sofa, reading the Daily Prophet. He barely glanced up from his newspaper before he yelled:

"James!"

Mr Potter smiled fondly at me and I returned it. He stood up and clapped me on the back. We then heard footsteps running quickly down the stairs of the manor. I grinned mischievously at Mr Potter before I hid behind the long, thick, elegant curtains. Mr Potter, guessing what I was planning to do, used his wand to hide my trunk, broom and owl.

"What?" James said excitedly as he entered the room and looked around eagerly.

I couldn't help but smile brightly when I saw James. His back then turned to me as he faced his father. I crept slowly towards him as Mr Potter tried not to look at me so he wouldn't tip James off.

When I was standing right behind James, I yelled at the top of my lungs and pushed him not too hard on the back. James practically flew ten feet in the air and whipped round to face me, clutching his heart. I roared with laughter, as did Mr Potter.

Mr Potter and I collapsed to the floor, clutching our stomachs, while James clutched his heart and was also laying on the floor, consumed with laughter.
Mrs Potter then entered the living room, looking pleasantly surprised.

"Oh hello, Sirius, dear." Mrs Potter said in a motherly way.

"Hi, Mrs Potter, I'm sorry for arriving on such short notice." I said.

"Your welcome anytime, Sirius. No improvement at home I'm guessing, since your here and it's only one day into the holidays?" Mrs Potter said, sympathetically.

"No, it's worse. They found out I was still contacting my cousin Andromeda." I said, frowning.

"Oh, I see." Mrs Potter said with sympathy.

"By all means, Sirius, stay here as long as you want. Stay all the summer if you wish. You are more then welcome." Mr Potter said, sincerely.

"Thank you, really, I can't thank you enough. If it's no trouble I would like to stay here till we go back to Hogwarts." I said, gratefully.

" 'Course it's no trouble. C'mon I'll help you get your stuff to my room." James insisted.

Mr Potter used his wand to reveal my stuff that he had hidden. James and I each grabbed one end of my trunk and started to move it towards the stairs and up to James bedroom.

"You know we have plenty of spare bedrooms?" Mr Potter said as we were halfway up the stairs.

"Where's the fun in that?" James and I said in unison.
