To say the whole of Gryffindor House was thrilled at the reconciliation of Sirius and Rosalie would be the understatement of the century. James and Mary snuck off to Hogsmeade. James went to get many large crates of Butterbeer and Mary, being of age, brought many crates of firewhiskey. Peter and Remus raided the kitchens for all they could get and a party was soon in full swing with Sirius and Rosalie in the centre of it not really knowing what was going on as they were too busy snogging the daylights out of each other and didn't show any signs of pulling apart anytime soon as they clung to each other like life lines.
The Gryffindors spread word to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and all three of the houses ended up in Gryffindor Common Room. Frank had charmed the staircase leading up to the dormitories to not let anyone but Gryffindors up there, just incase. The party went well into the night and into the early hours of the morning.
Rosalie, Lily, Alice, Mary and Marlene were all getting ready for the next day. Though exhausted, they could not ignore the awkward silence hanging over them. The fight between Marlene and Rosalie still fresh. They were all about to leave to go to Transfiguration but Rosalie and Marlene eyes met for the first time since the fight.
"I'm sorry!" They both said at the same time and they both let out a small laugh.
Rosalie went to speak again but Marlene held up a hand to stop her.
"Let me go first. I'm sorry, Rosie. I pushed too far. I shouldn't of tried to make you tell me anything you didn't want to say. I just knew how miserable you were without Sirius and I just wanted you to be happy again. I never should of said the things I did because they weren't true. I'm so sorry." Marlene said tearfully as she wiped away a few stray tears.
