Rosalie couldn't relax. There she stood with her mother in the kitchen, helping her make dinner. Rosalie's hand shook as she chopped up the carrots.

"You alright, dear?" Hope asked her daughter.

"Yeah, mom. I'm fine." Rosalie said, trying to smile convincingly but obviously failing considering her mother frowned in concern.

Hope studied her daughter intently and Rosalie thought to keep her hands from shaking

Hope studied her daughter intently and Rosalie thought to keep her hands from shaking.

"Rosie, there's something different about you." Hope said, thoughtfully.

Rosalie had to stop her hand go instinctively to her stomach where, if she was wearing her own clothes, you would see a defined baby bumb. Rosalie's breath caught in her throat. She could not, under any circumstances, draw attention to her stomach. Her baby bumb was unnoticeable in Frank's clothes, him having a much broader frame then her as well as being so much taller hid her pregnant belly from the world unless someone looked closely enough at it or if she or someone else drew attention to it.

A/N: For those of you who want a more visual representation of how far along Rosalie is, this is what her baby bumb looks if she wore her clothes.

"Is there?" Rosalie said, making an extreme effort to make her voice dismissive

"Is there?" Rosalie said, making an extreme effort to make her voice dismissive.

Hope took the knife out of Rosalie's hand and placed it on the counter. Hope leaned against the cabinet door, grabbing Rosalie's hands. Rosalie stared determinedly at the floor.

"Rose, look at me." Hope said.

Rosalie slowly moved her head up to look her mother in the eye.

"You know you can tell me anything, right." Hope prompted.

"There's nothing to tell." Rosalie said in barely more then a whisper.

Hope studied her daughter. "Okay . . . I just want you to know that you can."

"I do." Rosalie said, her voice tight.

"Come here." Hope said pulling her daughter into a hug.

Rosalie could feel the tears threatening to fall as she hugged her mother. Rosalie withdrew herself from her mother and excused herself by saying she needed the toilet. Rosalie wiped her eyes as she left the room and headed to the bathroom where she splashed cold water on her face and took some calming breaths.
