Sirius Point of View:
I laughed with the others at Lily's fiery rejection of James. Lily, fuming, linked arms with Rosalie and strode off with her friends laughing behind her.
James sighed.
"I see you were paying attention when your dad was giving us advice." I said, smirking.
I didn't wait for James' response and I ran after the girls, more specifically, Rosalie.
"Rose!" I called.
She turned around and smiled brightly. She said something to her friends and walked over to me.
"Yeah?" She asked.
I wrecked my brian trying to think of something to say.
"I just wanted to catch up, I mean, we didn't get to see each other over the summer . . ." I trailed off, blushing slightly.
Since when do I blush? I thought frantically.
"Sure, so . . . anything interesting happen to you this summer?" Rosalie asked, as we walked to the Great Hall together.
I sighed and grinned mischievously.
"Spent all of it at James's." I replied casually.
"Don't your parents miss you at all? You spend every summer at James's." Rosalie said, softly.
I tensed.
"It's complicated." I replied.
Rosalie but her lip hesitantly, probably debating whether to push the subject.
"So, what mischief did you and James manage to achieve?" Rosalie asked, deciding not to push it.
I sighed in relief.
Throughout breakfast I was telling Rosalie about all the pranks me and James got up too. Dying Mr Potters hair pink. Hiding all the groceries. Me scaring James when we arrived and throughout the rest of summer. James and I practising Quiditch.
Rosalie and I were barely breathing because we were laughing so hard.
"I threw the ball so far off course that James nearly fell off his broom trying to catch it!" I said, laughing hysterically.
Rosalie had tears streaming down her face as she shook with laughter. She spoke again once she calmed down.
"You've had an eventful summer. I hope Price doesn't kill me for not being able to practice this summer." Rosalie said.
Quin Price, she was a seventh year Gryffindor, Keeper and the Captain of Gryffindor Quiditch team.
"Your an amazing Seeker and the only person in Gryffindor that can actually play the position well. She can't kill you because there's no one good enough to replace you." I said casually, but in my head I added 'She'd have to get through me and my bat before she got to you.'
"Thanks." Rosalie said and smiled her enchanting smile that makes me have to catch my breath.
"What lesson do you have first?" I asked her as I grabbed my timetable.
"Transfiguration." Rosalie replied.
Yes! First lesson were together!
"We should probably start going if we don't want to be late." Rosalie said, grabbing her bag.
I followed her lead and we arrived at class room to see the rest of the class waiting outside the class room. Rosalie waved at me as she went to stand with her friend. I was grinning from ear to ear as I went to stand next to James. I leaned against him with a dreamy expression on my face.
