"What are you going to call him?" Marlene asked as she smiled down at the little baby in his moses basket that Sirius and Rosalie had brought over Christmas.

They had brought all the baby stuff over Christmas. Most of which had been baby clothes in all different ages so that there would always be something that would fit him intill they were out if Hogwarts.

"Lucas." Sirius answered, a tired Rosalie's head resting on his shoulder.

"I was thinking James could be his middle name." Rosalie yawned.

James head whipped towards her and he and Sirius looked at her, their eyes glowing with excitement. "Seriously?" They both said at the same time.

"Yep. Let's name our son after your boyfriend." Rosalie said, and as exhausted as she was managed a teasing smile.

"Sounds good to me." Sirius said with his usual bark like laugh and he and James high fived.

"Lucas James Black." Alice said as she stood next to Marlene, cooing over Lucas. "Has a nice ring to it."

"Welcome to the world, Lucas. It's a bit shit at the moment, sorry mate. " Frank said from his bed, leaning lazily against the pillows.

Everyone laughed.

They just couldn't stop themselves.

The euphoria was ineffectious and lasted about a week. It faded away once the sleepless nights really started to kick in. They had come up with a routine. Five pairs, one fore everyday of the school week. They would mix these pairs up every week so people wouldn't get as suspicious. Monday Rosalie and Sirius would miss classes to look after Lucas and Remus would teach them what they missed when he got back. On Tuesday it was Lily and James. Wednesday Frank and Alice. Thursday Remus and Mary and in Friday it was Marlene and Peter. Marlene ended up doing everything as Lucas would screech loudly whenever Peter held him.

But they all suffered the sleepless nights. It had now been three weeks since Lucas was born and much to Rosalie's delight she had lost nearly all the baby weight as in every spare minute she had when she wasn't, in class, looking after Lucas, or doing essays, she was exercising. Rosalie and Sirius now currently lay on Sirius's four poster bed, Lucas awake and in between them. He was holding his mother's finger and numbing on it. Rosalie didn't care as it was two O'clock in the morning and he was at last quiet. The others were all asleep except Sirius and Rosalie.

Sirius had an arm loosely wrapped around Rosalie, his other hand was holding his wand which was being used for a small light so Lucas wouldn't be afraid. "Marry me." Sirius whispered in the darkness.

Rosalie, who was dozing off, was now wide awake.

"What?" Rosalie gasped.

Sirius moved his arm from around Rosalie's waist and he caressed the side of her face with the palm of his hand.
