Rosalie's Point of View:

I walked up to my dorm room, exhausted but happier then I've ever been. I entered the dorm room and wasn't surprised when I found the others awake and eagerly waiting for me to tell them about the date. I collapsed onto my bed with a dreamy expression on my face.

"Tell." Marlene demanded.

"Us." Alice demanded.

"Everything." Lily demanded

"NOW!" Mary demanded.

"Did you rehearse that?" I asked with a soft laugh.

"Maybe, but that's beside the point." Alice said.

"How was it?" Lily asked eagerly.

I sighed.

"Amazing . . ." I said and told them about the date.

I kept the intimate, private details out of it but gave them enough information to satisfy them.

". . . and just before we were about to leave Sirius asked me to be his girlfriend." I finished in a blissful happiness.

"And what did you say?" They all demanded, eagerly.

"Yes. We're officially together." I said grinning from ear to ear.

The girls all cheered and dog piled me into a group hug.

"Oh, Sirius told me that Remus is teaching them how to do the Patronus Charm and told me that we could come learn it to. They're going to try cast it tomorrow after the Halloween feast in their dormitory. Frank's going to." I added with a sly smirk at Alice.

The girls all enthusiastically agreed to go, but Lily only did after we assured her we'd keep James as far away as possible. I then got changed into my night wear and got into bed.

Lily and I got up early the next morning and we were both tired. I had sent an owl to Severus yesterday before I went to meet Sirius. I had had a feeling the date would go well and I wanted him to hear it from, rather then someone else, that Sirius and I were dating.

Lily was coming to back me up. We met Snape in the Library where he was hiding three stacks of toast from the piercing eyes of Madam Pince. Severus smiled at us as we sat down next to him. He gave Lily and I a stack of toast each.

We started to make general conversation intill I decided it was time to stop stalling and to just rip the bandage off and not draw it out.

"Sev . . . I need to tell you something." I said, biting my lip nervously.

Lily tensed. She gave me an encouraging smile but also glanced nervously at Severus.

"What?" Severus said immediately getting serious at the sudden change in the mood.

"Sev, Sirius and I, we're together." I said, nervously but determinedly.

Severus's face paled and his mouth twisted in anger and disgust. Lily grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"You've got to be kidding! Tell me you're joking!" Severus demanded.

I glared defianitely back at him.

"No, it's not a joke." I said calmly but still with my defiant glare.

"I thought you were my friend! You know how much I hate Black! After everything he does to me?" Severus yelled.

"I don't agree with what Black does to you! But that's the only thing I don't like and maybe I can convince him to stop! But I like him Severus! A lot! And if you think the things they do are so bad, then why the hell are you hanging out with those Slytherin friends of yours? They're even worse. They've sent students to Saint Mungo's, Sirius and his friends have never taken something that far! They never would go that far!" I yelled back.

Lily looked between us anxiously.

"They . . . they just do it . . . for a laugh . . . That's it. Just laugh." Severus said, not looking me in the eye.

"I don't see the Muggle Borns laughing! Your lack sentiment towards them is appalling! What if Lily and I didn't care what the Marauders did to you and just let them do it? What if we didn't bother to step in and stop them? Well that's exactly what it's like for the Muggle Borns! I thought you, more than anyone, would sympathise with them!" I yelled glaring furiously at him.

"But . . . still . . . Black . . . You can't . . . I WON'T LET YOU!" Severus said.
