James's Point of View:

My concern for Sirius after the break up turned into genuine worry. He was barely recognisable. No longer fun loving and care free, he was tortured and haunted. I could also tell Sirius was trying to act like himself infront of my parents but when he thought no one was looking he dropped the facade. He was miserable. There was no other word for it.

I knew Rosalie wasn't having the time of her life either with the break up but I just couldn't help but wonder why she wouldn't let Sirius talk to her if she too missed the relationship. I wondered why they couldn't just get back together. Sirius and I both got great grades in our O.W.Ls but I honestly wasn't looking forward to a new school year.

For once I wasn't looking forward to going back to Hogwarts because if Sirius was like this when Rosalie wasn't around what would he be like when she was around. Remus had tried talking to Rosalie but she was being stubborn, even for her.

I knew there must be more to the story. Rosalie can be stubborn but she's never been unreasonable. Sirius got worse as the days went on where it got to the point I had to drag him out of bed and down the stairs.

"Breakfast, Sirius?" My mom asked as she came over with a stack of toast and she looked Sirius with pity.

Sirius opened his mouth and my mother placed a piece of toast in his mouth.

"Thankyou." Sirius muttered.

My mom handed me the rest of the toast.

"Thanks mom." I said as I gave her a quick hug.

I then proceed to start dragging Sirius towards the front door.

"Why are you dragging him outside? My dad questioned as he came to stand by my mom.

"He needs fresh air plus the others will be coming soon to practice quiditch." I replied.

Sirius gave them a little wave as I dragged him out of the house. I then took Sirius's eye liner out of my pocket and carefully and terribly tried to put the eye liner on Sirius. I then showed Sirius in the mirror.

"You're terrible at eye liner, Prongs." Sirius said the ghost of his usual grim on his face.

I threw my hands up in exaggeration.

"You do it then!" I said defensively.

Sirius chuckled slightly and wiped off the eyeliner.

"Thanks for trying though. I know I've been down right miserable lately." Sirius said with an apologetic look.

"Hey, I know how much Rosie means to you. It's okay. I just wish I knew how to help you." I said as I sat down next to him.

"I wish I knew how to help me. I can't stop thinking about her, Prongs. The biggest problem is she didn't want it to end either. She may of ended it but it was because of what I did. How could I have screwed up this badly, Prongs?" Sirius said, head in his hands.

I clapped him on the back.

"Pads, it will all work out. I know she misses you too. This is not the end for you two." I said.

'At least it won't be if I have anything to say about it.' I added in my thoughts.

I hope Remus is having any luck with Rosalie.

Remus's Point of View:

"Are we really not going to talk about it?" I said as I moved one of my chess pieces.

"Yes." Rosalie said as she moved one of her chess pieces to block mine.

"Rosie, I just want to know how your doing. You're not talking much anymore. It used to be we could never get you to shut up." I said with a teasing smile as I took her bishop.
