15 Years Later
Ryuhee focused on her target as the bright lights in the room started to blind her eyes. "Dim the lights," she demanded.
Then she hit it, the most difficult one present on the pool table. It went to the pocket. The female tilted her head to the side and tried memorize the way she shot it.
"Good shot," she heard a compliment with a deep chuckle. Ryuhee looked beside her to see who was talking.
The guy had brown hair pushed back as he must have brushed it away quite a few times lately. It exposed his rectangular shaped forehead.
"I am good at billiards," she stated the fact smugly as the response to his compliment.
He was tall, around her age and a presumably a rich guy. The short sleeves of his t-shirt were rolled up to show his biceps.
"Uh huh," he mumbled, checking her out. She followed his gaze. "Where are your eyes when you are talking, mister?" She glared at him.
He looked up at her eyes abruptly, smirking afterwards. "You have a really nice—" he paused and looked around.
That guy glanced at her bodyguards once, letting out a laugh and then glanced back at her,
"Outfit," he sneered and closed his eyes as if he were in pain to not be able to say the word he wanted.
"Thanks," Ryuhee replied victoriously. He complimented her outfit when she was wearing just a tank top and sweatpants. "Wanna compete?" He proposed, cockily raising an eyebrow.
"You will lose," the female said with full confidence. "We will see about that," he smiled. It seemed to be the only sincere expression of his.
He was about to shoot but just then someone else came. "Ryu," it was her boyfriend's voice.
"Jimin," she smiled at him. He was wearing his suit indicating that he was working till now. He encircled his arm around her waist and placed a kiss on her lips.
Taehyung was quietly waiting for her, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue. "Hello," Jimin greeted him first which his girlfriend never bothered to do.
"Hey. I am Taehyung," he introduced himself with a pretentious smile. "I know you, Kim Taehyung," Jimin repeated his name using the full of it.
Ryuhee wanted to ask Jimin how he knew him. But she decided to drop it as she did not want to show any interest in him.
"I am guilty," he replied and Jimin laughed. "I am Park Jimin," he introduced himself too. "I must have known you too," Taehyung said acting humble.
Meanwhile I started preparing to shoot again. "Babe, let's not play anymore," Jimin hugged me from behind.
"It's getting late, Ryu," That guy named Taehyung sang my name, not even knowing it properly. "Don't say it," I warned him. He laughed and looked down.
"We will play another day. I promise," Jimin said. He was good at billiards too.
They left the place in Jimin's car. The whole ride, Ryuhee kept thinking about the strange guy she met today. He had nothing special about him without maybe a Gucci watch and a Balenciaga T-Shirt.
But for some reason, she felt that she was looking in the mirror, as if he were a reflection of herself.
Ryuhee regularly used to play billiards.  But she had never seen him before there. So she thought naturally he would not be good at it.
"How do you know him?" I asked Jimin despite not wanting to. "Who?" He questioned. "Tae—Kim Taehyung," she presumed it would be better to call his full name since he was still unknown to her.
"How can you not know him? He is a famous business tycoon," he said excitedly. "Oh, I am not really into business," she admitted honestly. The car took a sharp turn.
"You must have heard about him sometime. The Kim family, rings a bell?" He tried again. "I don't think that I know him, Jimin. I am a boring lawyer. I don't find business interesting."
"Mr. Kang must have known. He must have worked with him too," Jimin referred her father as Mr. Kang. The female stiffened hearing his name.
"I don't talk to him. You know that. I don't even live with him. I just have his properties and that's all."Jimin nodded. "Okay. I get it."
Ryuhee took a shower in lukewarm water and came out wearing her bathrobe. She wanted to dry her hair but suddenly her eyes fell upon the pictures of her and her mother.
I loved my mom. I loved my dad too, but no more after mom died.
He tried a lot to make her stay with him. But she did not pay heed to him. He was always too busy to meet them. Mom died without meeting him for over one year.
In the end, her father gave her all his properties and hired a housekeeper for her whom she called aunt and he moved to abroad.
Her thoughts got interrupted as Jimin wrapped his hand around her waist and spun her around. "Do you know, when you look the best?" She knew it was not a question. He would answer it himself.
Jimin breathed on her face, eyeing her. "Do you know when you are not horny?" Ryuhee questioned him back. "Surprise me," he said. A sudden interest twinkling in his eyes.
His hand went down to her thighs. "I can't make the word 'never' any fancier," the female muttered. "Come on! You know you like it too," he tried.
"Not tonight," she sighed before saying it. "Tired much?" he asked and started to kiss her jawline. Jimin untied the robe Ryuhee was wearing.
"Jimin," she uttered his name, making herself free from him, "Tomorrow," she whispered before pecking his lips.
She had to do some thinking that night.
