Chapter 15

Manik was in his office. He was really busy because of his wedding which was literally 3days away. He was even more anxious about his stubborn fiancé. Her sudden stubbornness was scary. She became unpredictable and because of him, his mother was going ahead. She was trying get out of the relationship after that day, when she first saw Nandini's real self. Manik just told her that he would fix Nandini as Nayona wish.

Nandini literally rebelled after Manik told her that she could no longer meet her friends in the future. She went out with them regularly after that and made sure that she created some scene. Manik faced hard time while trying to cover everything up. Her antics made his mother worried but Manik was more adamant to marry her.

Manik got a call when he was almost done with his work. It was his best friend Murat, who was going to get married as well.

"Murat, bro, how are you?"

"I am fine buy why do I feel like that you were waiting for my call."

"I wanted to talk to you but all these works were holding me back. Imagine my happiness when I saw your call." Manik said while he closed his laptop.

"I want to talk to you too. So, tell me how is your fiance?"

"Not good. Suddenly the sweet, calm girl turn into an evil witch. She is creating havoc. Mom was on the verge of canceling it but I somehow managed."

Murat smirked, "OHO! you managed to save the wedding. Why though? I thought you were getting married because of your mom but now your mom wants nothing with that evil witch. Did you fall for her?"

"Shut up! People already know about the wedding. Not that I care about their opinion but I am not setting her free. That witch is going to learn her lessons in a very hard way."

"What the! You are having dirty thoughts." Murat laughed.

"Not funny, Yilmaz. Not funny at all. How is your fiance by the way?"

"She is weird."

"Woah! Your one changed as well? For good I hope."

"I don't know. She doesn't behave like before and that's a very good thing but she is acting calm. Even then I saw fire on her eyes like she was hiding something. She was oddly ok with the engagement and spending her life with me."

"Ok. So both of our fiancé changed for the worse. We need to be careful. Both are giving me hungry wolf vibes." Manik shook her head.

"We are supposed to be the vicious wolf!" Murat said angrily.

"We will be after the wedding. We need to break their will and bent them as per our wishes."

"Stop using double meaning words. I had a little fight with Hayat and she was adamant to keep her job. I had no satisfaction like I thought I would have when she got to know about the company merging. She didn't even react that time. When I threatened her, she threatened me back using my grandma." Murat stood up from his chair and went to the window with phone in hand.

"Is she planning something?" Manik asked.

"Even if she did make plans, I will ruin them all. She can't escape from me. I will fix everything after our wedding. What are you going to do with Nandini?"

"I don't think I need to do much. She acting rebel but soon she will get tired and she herself will came back to her previous self. She is quite peace lover and she ain't get any peace after our marriage." Manik got another call notification. "Congratulations and All the best for your wedding. I am getting another call so, I will talk to you later."

"All the best to you too. I need to talk to my fiance as well. See you when we both will become married man."

They both said their good bye and Murat tried to call Hayat but her phone was off. So, he called the hospital reception.

"Hel-"

"Murat Yilmaz here. Where is Dr. Aslan?"

"Dr. Aslan is assisting a senior doctor in his surgery. Her last surgery in this hospital."

"Last surgery? What do you mean?"

"She is leaving this hospital."

Murat smiled thinking Hayat gave into his demand that's why he didn't ask anything further and cut the call. But he did not know that it was her last surgery in that hospital because she was leaving the country and flying to another that night.

Mr Arora was constantly calling Manik so, he knew that it had to be something urgent. He hoped that his would be father in law didn't mess with any official work.

"Hello, we can't find her." His voice was shaking.

"What do you mean you can't find her?" Manik asked in a cold voice.

"She went missing yesterday. We thought she must be with her friends and don't want to come home. Her phone is switched off and none of his friends saw her after yesterday evening."

"Why did you not inform me yesterday?! Did you find anything about her?"

"No, b..but.."

"But?"

"Many of her clothes and belongings are missing as well. I.. I think she..."

Manik with his eyes wide, "She ran away."

I wanted to make it dramatic but left that idea because these jerks do not deserve such dramatic scene. I just showed how they were on high before falling down. The girls are finally free!
