Chapter 8

Hayat Aslan's POV

"Why are you doing this?" I barge into our house. My brother and his wife both were not expecting me to come like this.

"Hayat! You are here." Ayfer said happily.

"Why are you doing this?" I totally ignored her. She was in this too with my brother.

"Doing what?" Erhan tried to act confused.

"Murat told me that moving on is not the only reason for you to push me towards my marriage. So, tell me what else is there?"

"What have you done, Erhan?" Ayfer asked Erhan with a stern look. So, she had no idea. 

"There is nothing else in there, Hayat. I don't know why Murat said that."

"I don't know why are you even trying when your face is giving everything away. I just hope it won't be something which will ruin everything between us." I looked at Ayfer and said, "Take care."

I was mad angry! My brother never kept anything from me and the same I did with him as well. But he was lying, looking at my eyes! I would find it out sooner or later but I couldn't really recognize my brother anymore.

I couldn't handle when he lied to me as if he was telling the truth and I could trust him. I stormed out of the house and went to have a few drinks. I needed to think and analyze what was going on.

Even after three shots, my nerves didn't calm down. I thought that was enough alcohol for me. I didn't want to miss out more surgeries next day. I went to my apartment and saw Selin. She was watching tv. She smiled mischievously and asked, "So how was your lunch date?"

"How do you know?"

"Hayat, whole hospital knows that you are dating Murat Yilmaz."

"I am not dating anyone." I shouted.

"You are not? Then why did he took you out that too through chairman?"

I sighed and sat down beside her. "He is my so called fiance."

"You said that you are not dating anyone but he is your fiance?"

"My brother wants me to marry that Yilmaz. But I don't want to." I rubbed my face.

"Then why is he your fiance?" Selin had a comical expression. I would have laugh in different situation.

"My question. I don't want to marry him but they all are making him my fiance, forcefully."

"But why?"

"My family has a past with his family. Now his grandma wants to remove all the beef from both of our family hence the marriage. My brother said he agreed bcz he wants to move on. Murat said that's not the only thing. Something else is in this too but my brother is lying that never happened before. I don't know what to do. I don't want to stay here anymore to be honest."

" So, it's ur family problem. Instead of solving it like a sane person they opted for the insane one." I laughed when she summarized it.

" I don't want to have anything with that family. It happened years ago definitely we have move on in our life. I just didn't forget and now they are saying I need to move on. F*ck them, I am not marrying that Yilmaz but what should I do?"
