Hayat Aslan's POV
I collected the address of Murat Yilmaz's office after I got to know that Azize Yilmaz had been discharged from the hospital. I thought, I would just come into the cabin and after telling him that I would not marry him, I would just leave from there.
Going to his office was never in my plan but I had to go in order to talk to him. I had several surgery to do in the morning so, after lunch I took a day leave saying that I was not feeling well. Erhan should not know that I talked to that man. I could not understand what he was thinking. Did he really thought that I would agree just because he promised. That's a very f*cked up idea to even entertain. It's not 18th but 21st century. I will obviously not cry and beg to my brother to stop all this.
I could never forgive that family. Yeah, he didn't do anything but his grandpa did. We couldn't even keep his grandmother out of it as well. I was not someone who just forgive someone because she wanted to move on. I moved on with all the bitterness and sadness. That made me strong like a steel and my brothers opinion could not break it.
Only think about yourself and it's a worthy cause to lose few brain cells. I was standing in front of the building. I didn't took off my coat from the hospital because of few reasons. I was sure that without appointment, I could never meet him. A rich man like him may have countless women chasing him and I have no intention to be labeled one of them. My doctor coat would force them to take me seriously.
The receptionist was looking at me confusingly. "I don't think, we called for a doctor."
"You didn't but I need to meet with Mr. Yilmaz urgently and that's why I don't have any appointment as well. You just inform him that Dr, Aslan came to meet him." I said but she looked at me weirdly.
"Is this some kind of new tricks to reach Mr. Yilmaz?"
"His Grandmother was my patient but him without informing me got her discharged from the hospital. I needed to talk to him about few important things but he just left. I can't just go around for the patients with power doing whatever the heck they want." The receptionist weren't convinced but shw called anyway.
She told me to wait for a while as his assistant was informing him about me. I just hoped he knew about me or else I would be charged for forceful trespassing.
After a few minutes, the receptionist told me to go to the fourth floor. That means he had given the permission but what if he didn't know anything about our marriage. Well, then I had to do the honor.
The assistant raised her brows when she saw the hospital name engraved on my coat. She let him know that I was there and told me to enter.
She closed the door behind me once I was inside of the cabin. He was looking at me curiously. "You came to talk about my grandmother? I thought you would be here to discuss our marriage."
He did not look like that he was making fun but I didn't miss the amusement swirling around his eyes. "You were right. I came for that only. I wanted to tell you in the hospital itself but you got her discharged so, here I am." I shrugged like it was not a big matter.
"You are really smart, I have to say. That coat of yours saved you from a long processing. So, tell me what do you want to talk?" He looked like he really wanted to know. But I thought it would be a mutual feeling for not wanting to get married.
