Nandini Arora's POV

He went to that extent where he sent flowers for me and I had no idea about it. "You sent those?"

"Yes, apologies for not writing my name. I wanted to create a mystery but it clearly didn't work." Mystery? I got angry because of the note. So, I was dealing with someone like Old Manik or may be much worse.

"So, you wanted to work with me since then."

"Of course, you are such a talented woman. You are exactly like the woman I was searching for." He was talking in riddles. I was not very keen to play.

"Mr. Naagraj, can you speak clearly? You are searching for a woman or just me? How many women are we talking about?"

"One and that's you. I always get what I want and because nothing really catch my eyes easily." He was staring at me with a smile and nothing creeped me out more than that.

"Well, Mr. Naagraj. I think my manager is done with the meeting and I am getting late for my other meetings."

"I will not keep you away from your work, Miss Arora. I will see you again to finalize the deal." He said and stood up.

"That won't be needed, Mr. Naagraj. We will let you know if we want the deal or not."

He titled his head on the side as if he was amused. "Nobody ever refused to do business with me, Miss Arora."

"I am sure, that's not true. You must have faced rejection from others in your early days. Nobody climbed the success stairs without getting rejected. Thank you for the opportunity but we will see what we can do."

I walked away from him without looking back. I was afraid because I didn't want any burden. I wanted to establish my family business once again but with someone like him, it's going to get real messy and I was not up for it.

I waited for my manager in the car and with a blinding light smile. He was definitely excited about the deal. "Looks like the meeting went well."

"Mam, they are so impressed for our future plans and the vision that they even offer a huge amount to invest in the company. But they want to become the second most share owner of the company. I almost gave them the word but then I realize that I should not do it without asking you. Manik sir, will definitely kill me." He mumbled the last line but I heard it.

Not his Manik sir, I would have killed him myself. "We don't want huge investment. The huge the amount is, the more risk. We are just starting, we can't be burdened like this. Mehrotras are the second most share owner of the company and they offered huge amount too. The business needs to grow, a Jumpstart may look like we are shoving our brands to the customers. Looks like we can't have a deal with Mr. Naagraj. Inform them about it tomorrow."
