Diamond's POV
I could barely keep my eyes opened while we drove home. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I was a hot mess.
"You tired?" Dallas asked. I gave him a small nod as I rubbed my eyes. "Just get some sleep. Traffic is heavy cause it's New Years. It's gonna be a while."
"I-I'm fine." I said letting out a moan.
"Yeah. Whatever you say." He said with a grin.
I don't really remember much after that. It got harder to keep my eyes opened so I eventually just fell asleep.
John's POV
"Where is she!?" I yelled over the phone.
"I think she's in Oklahoma."
"Think? I want a confident answer!" I said trying to get into his head.
"But I don't know! I went down to the train station and I figured a bunch of this stuff out but I'm not positive. She could have had a completely different plan than what I think she had."
"Just get down there. Tell me in a few hours if she's there." I said about to hang up the phone. He stopped me.
"Wait! A few hours? It's gonna take me a whole day to get down there and then another day coming back. I have to find her city and where she's staying too!"
"Then what are you waiting for?!" I yelled.
"But it's New Years," He drawled. "I wanna hang out with my friends today."
"I don't care. Find her." I said hanging up the phone.
Dallas' POV
We were driving home and I knew she wouldn't make it through the entire way home without falling asleep. I thought she was gonna throw up or something but I guess she can hold her drink.
We finally pulled in Buck's and I parked out back along with Buck's other collection of cars we have access to.
"We're here. Wake up."
She was dead asleep.
"Diamond?" I asked hoping she'd get up. Deep down, I knew she wasn't.
Perfect.
Diamond's POV
I stuggled to wake up in the morning. I rubbed my eyes and it took me a second to realize I was in my bed.
Shit...
Now I remember what happened last night. I got drunk and I just kept going.
Oh fuck...
Yeah I definitely owe somebody an apology.
I laid in bed for a bit before getting up because of the headache I had.
I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and oh my God I looked horrible.
I decided to take off my makeup and take a shower. The warm water falling on my body never felt better. I never wanted to get out.
But the warm water was gonna run out and I didn't wanna use it all. So I got out and got dressed for the day. I quickly dried my hair and put on makeup.
I finally looked like myself again.
I wasn't exactly sure what I was gonna do today. I mean, what do normal people do? At least my days are full of surprises now. If I were in New York, I knew exactly what I'd be doing right now.
