We had been in the car for nearly half an hour. Just me and Simon. He had dropped Talia back off at his place, telling me he was driving me out for a surprise. I still had absolutely no idea where we were going, or what we were doing.

"So you're really not going to tell me where we're going?" I ask, for what seemed like the tenth time that drive.

He shook his head, still concentrating on the road. "Just wait and see! I promise it'll be worth it."

"You know how I am with surprises," I warned him, slumping back down into my seat.

"I know. But I also know you trust me, so trust me. You know I'd never lie to you or want to make you panic," he said reassuringly, driving onto a motorway.

"Fine," I sighed, looking out of the window, watching the cars go by. "Can you at least tell me if it's a long drive?"

"No. About another twenty minutes or so, then we're there," he confirmed, turning up the radio once more.

The sun was slowly starting to set. It was still light out, but in around an hours time it would be right in the middle of sunset, and two hours from now it would be dark for sure.

I let my hand rest on my stomach as we drove, the two of us in a comfortable silence.

"Have you thought of any names?" Simon asked, breaking that silence.

"We have a few in mind, but none for sure...I think we're waiting until they're born, maybe we'll know when we see their face," I tell him.

"When I have a kid I want to have a boy. I promised JJ back in year ten that I'd give the middle name of one of my kids his name, and you can't really have a girl whose middle name is Olajide," he laughs, now driving down a country lane. A stark contrast from the motorway.

"Does Talia know about this deal?" I ask, amused to see what her reaction would be.

"Not yet. But she gets dibs on the first name, so I don't see how she's in a position to say no...plus, we both want a few kids, so there's time for me to beg if I need to," he grins, the car slowly coming to a stop.

"We're here?" I ask, looking around. We're literally in the middle of nowhere.

"Fucking hell, I forgot how impatient you are! Just wait for a second!" He spoke light heartedly, turning off the engine and walking round to the boot of the car. Zipping up my coat I stepped out, hit by the force of the wind.

"Shit, it's cold," I said rubbing my hands together.

"No shit, it's winter," he said in a mocking tone, widening his eyes at me.

"Shut up," I grinned. It felt like we were young again, the two of us bickering once more. I missed it.

He picked up a box with a handle from the boot, carrying it in his hand, shutting the boot.

"Are you ready to go then? Come on!" He said cheerfully, as if it wasn't zero degrees, and nearly dark outside.

"If you weren't my brother, I'd be convinced you were about to kill me right now," I said jokingly, following him as we started walking towards a footpath sign.
