HARRY.

The simple answer would've been to just ignore Katie's follow on my Instagram, but there was something inside of me that just wouldn't let this go. I needed to find out how, and why she was here, in London. Most importantly I needed to know when she was leaving.

Sophie was asleep in bed. She had told me about the whole tour business a couple of hours ago...things weren't bad, but there was definitely a certain awkwardness between us right now.

I sat up in the bed, careful not to wake Sophie up, turning the brightness on my phone down. I found myself on Katie's profile now, looking at the blue follow back button. She had less posts than she did when I had left Guernsey without warning. Obviously, all the ones of us were gone, thankfully, but it appeared like she had been cautious to post pictures on there.

From what I could see, she wasn't seeing anyone - not that it was any of my business, anyway.

Following her back wouldn't hurt, would it? At least, just until I figure everything out. Sophie trusted me, and rightly so. I wouldn't do anything that would compromise our relationship - our engagement, now.

I pressed it, and a part of me almost expected something very unexpected to happen. It didn't. I was overthinking it, massively. This whole situation was giving me a major headache, and I just wanted it to be over so I could focus on Sophie, on YouTube.

But then something unexpected did happen. A message popped up at the top of my screen, and it was from her.

So you finally followed back?

Why are you here, Katie? I don't get it

If you have to be so nosy, I'm mutual friends with Talia. It was her that told me about the shoot, so of course I went along. I moved to London a week or two ago, if it's any of your business

Oh right. Sorry

Nothing to be sorry for - obviously excluding everything in Guernsey. You were a complete dickhead

Look, can we talk about this in person? Get everything cleared up and then move on? It's not something that should be done over text

Sounds fine. I'm busy for the next three weeks, so it'll have to be after then, if you can still be bothered

Alright look I'm not a complete prick. Three weeks is fine

Alright nice. See you soon I guess

I clicked out of the conversation, not bothering to reply again. There was a part of me that felt guilty - almost like I was two timing - but my intentions were nothing but pure. Plus, Sophie wouldn't even have to find out. I'd go meet Katie this once, sort everything out and then it would be in the past and time to move on. Everything would be fine.

4TH MARCH, 2019 - 3 WEEKS LATER, 3 WEEKS UNTIL TOUR

"I'm going out for a while, I'll text you when I'm on my way home Soph!" I called out, tying the laces on my shoes as fast as I could so I could get out and avoid the many questions I knew she'd have.

"Where are you off to? Anywhere exciting?" She asked, a genuine smile plastered on her face. It made me feel even more guilty.

"No," I lied, "Just over to a mate's house for a couple hours. An old friend from Guernsey," I smiled. At least this wasn't a complete lie - just leaving out the part that this 'mate' happened to be my ex girlfriend of four years.
