FEBRUARY 4TH, 2019.
"I feel like I'm going to be sick," I tell Harry, who had been rubbing my back in comfort for the last five minutes. I'm due to go live on stream in just ten minutes to the lead up to one of the most anticipated releases of my entire career yet.
My album.
The last few days have been wild...obviously the surprise proposal, the trip to Paris...coming home to a surprise birthday/engagement party...and now my album release.
My adrenaline was high, and I was worried people weren't going to like the album as much as my first EP...what if I had already peaked? What if this completely flopped? What would I do then?
"Earth to Sophie?" I heard, snapping my head up to look at Harry, who was now staring at me in the eyes.
"Huh? What, sorry," I mumbled, looking over at the computer, at the time. Five minutes left.
"I could practically see you overthinking...you wanna talk about it?" He offered, and I shook my head. I know he was just trying to help, but I just wanted to forget about everything that could go wrong tonight.
"It'll be alright. Anyway...are you ready to hear the meanings of every song? I deliberately didn't tell you so tonight would be a surprise," I tease him, giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
"Of course I'm excited, are you kidding? I've had this marked in my calendar since you told me when it would be announced. I'm your number one fan," he winked, and I just had to roll my eyes.
"Oh - look, just under two minutes. I better get ready and do a quick Instagram post or something - crap, I shouldn't have left this so last minute! I have no pictures!"
"Wait...I think I have one...let me send it to you," he said quickly, and I watched as he scrolled through his phone, worriedly looking back at the time. I didn't want to be late.
A ping sounded from my phone, and it was an attachment from Harry. The picture was of me, from my small tour last year...I had no idea this picture even existed until right now.
"Did you take this?" I asked curiously, saving the picture to my phone and opening Instagram.
"Sure did. Took it very sneakily, no one knew it existed except me until right now," he said quietly. "I like it, because you look so happy and peaceful, doing something you truly love. Seeing you happy makes me happy," he grinned.
"I would so tease you for being cheesy but I am running late, so I am making a mental note to do it later," I rushed, uploading the picture to Instagram and writing a quick caption.
