HARRY'S POV

I'd had a weird feeling in my chest all night. I hadn't been able to put a finger on it, so I put it down to missing Sophie.

I'd just settled in bed for the night, when my phone started ringing. I assumed it was Sophie, and I was right. Her contact came up, and I smiled, accepting the call. It had become a daily routine for her to call me after her concerts, with the exception of when she had to fly the same night.

"Hey bu-"

"Is this Harry?" The voice on the phone said. The voice that was definitely not Sophie's.

"Kyle? Is that you?" I asked, sitting up straight. Something wasn't right.

"Sophie's been shot," he told me, and I felt my whole world come crashing down.

"She's been what?" I asked, the blood draining from my face.

"It's not fatal, she's being taken to the hospital right now-"

"I'm booking a flight, I'm coming over-" I said, jumping out of bed, pacing around my room. She's been shot? How? Why? Nothing made any sense?

"I've already booked you one. It leaves in an hour, I'll send everything over by text and if you have any problems, you tell me and I'll sort it out, alright? I'll have Fred meet you at the airport when you get here," he explained to me, and I hung up straight after, swearing profanities left right and centre.

I needed to tell Simon, but he'd want to come too, and it would just delay us both, and someone needed to be there for her straight away. I put a coat and some shoes on, not giving a damn what I looked like, taking my car and driving as fast as I could to the airport.

I didn't care about anything, or anyone else except for Sophie. How the hell had she even gotten shot?

I reached the airport, Kyle had sent over all the details and I got checked in in record time. My flight was due to board in twenty minutes and take off shortly after that, it was a one and a half hour flight to Belgium, so it was likely I'd be with her in just over two hours.

Whilst I was waiting I checked my phone, typing her name into google. Nothing out of the ordinary came up on search, I was guessing Kyle and his team were keeping this under wraps. I was glad, of course, but I also wanted to know what had gone down. How badly she was hurt.

I was in the dark, and I hated it more than anything.

SOPHIE'S POV

I woke up to a white ceiling. I turned my head to the side, feeling a dull ache on my neck, and in my arm. What the hell? Why did my neck hurt? And why did it feel like there was a burning hole in my right arm?

"Hello?" I whispered. I had no idea where I was, who I was with, or what had happened.

"Sophie? You're awake?" I heard a male voice say, and it sounded awfully similar to -

"Harry? Is that you? What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to sit up, and slowly getting there.

"Sophie, bubs, you're alright, thank god," he said, and I now saw him sat next to the bed I was in, and he looked like he was crying.

"Why are you crying? Why are you here? More importantly, why am I here?" I asked, looking around and seeing some flowers in the windowsill.

"Do you remember anything from last night?" He asked slowly, and I closed my eyes temporarily.
