10-Broken Deal (Part-1)

"Wait here, I'll go get my car." He ordered Camila and left to enter through exit again. After 10 minutes, a Range Rover stopped in front of Camila and she was surprised to see Shawn now wearing white T-shirt with light blue denim jacket on it. He gestured Camila to come in, opening the door for her and she stepped in.

"How did you changed your clothes so quick?" Reaching for the seat belt, she asked.

"I always have extra clothes in my car."

"Oh ok." She replied and looked straight.

"So what's our destination." Shawn asked while driving his Range Rover, to diminish the awkward silence between them.

"I'll tell you, just keep going."

Shawn noded and kept driving his car under her directions, until they reached an amusement park.

"This is our destination." She declared.

"This park?" He asked still not sure.

"Yep" She said with a confidence.

"But I think it's not open Camila." He said looking at the closed gate and deserted place.

"That's the thrill of it." She said with excitement.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean we'll have fun in the park in the absence of so many people."

"But how would we enter? the guard wouldn't let us in."

"Leave it to me, you just have to sneak out through the gate when I'll keep the guard busy and then open the gate for me too."

"But-" Shawn hesitated.

"But what you can't do it?, It's ok then our deal will be over."

"No No I'll do it." He said and both of them hopped out of car. Shawn stood under the security camera near the gate so he won't be captured in it while Camila went to window where guard was sipping his tea, watching the camera footage on the screen.

"Excuse me!"

He left news paper on the table leaving the place to come near window. Camila turned her head to wink at Shawn who now quickly started climbing up on the gate.

"Yes ma'am."

"Hi I'm Camila."

"Yes how can I help you?" He asked, completely uninterested in her name.

"Actually I came here yesterday and left my purse on the bench, have you seen it in there." She asked glancing over at Shawn who was now on the opposite side of the gate, climbing down.

"Wait, I'll see." The guard said moving towards drawers, pulling one out and looked for a purse inside. Camila's eyes were on Shawn all the time. He jumped on the floor and quickly moved aside to hide himself from the camera. Meanwhile the guard turned around with a black coloured purse in his hand and glanced at the screen while walking towards Camila.

"Is this yours?" He asked.

"No it was blue in colour. Can you please look for it properly. Actually it had my really important thing in it." She pleaded. The guard turned again towards drawers and Camila turned towards Shawn to give him a sign. He opened the door from inside and Camila quickly ran to enter in it. They both started running hand in hand inside the park away from guard's room. The turned his face to tell Camila that he couldn't find any blue coloured purse and saw no one standing there. He looked outside the window and then again sat on his seat to sip his coffee, looking at the screen.

"Wow you were great, just like a spy." She said breathless.

"Why?" His colour disappearing from his face with fear of getting expose.

"I mean, the way you knew exactly how to do everything, how to hide from the camera and when to do something, you were great."

"Oh Yeah." He sighed in relief. "So what we are doing here. Staring at the swings?"

"Nope We're gonna get in the swings...come on." She laughed and pulled him towards cars, they sat in, hitting each other and laughing. Shawn didn't even noticed himself laughing at her. They wander inside and rode on several rides.

"I think we should go now, you've four more tasks to prove yourself." She said walking on the pavement.

"But how would we get outside." He asked.

"Come with me." She led him to place covered in bushes, moving them aside she showed him the small fence door, locked from inside. She opened the lock and they both leaned down to pass through the narrow door.

"We have to walk a little to go to your car." She told him and he just noded thinking of how carefree she was. How beautiful she looked when she laughed, he couldn't get his sight away from her. She was something else to him like a mystery, he wanted to solve so bad. He was sure she had covered herself in so many layers and he found sadness in her laugh which made it unique and attractive.

They drove their car to super market and Shawn knew this time, he had to do something daring to prove himself.

"You just have to steal some candy bars from there."

"Really!! You're insane, why can you just buy them for me, you are rich as fuck."Shawn suggested.

Camila halted and gave him a glare.

"Alright! I was just saying." He shrugged.

Stealing candies was just a silly thing to do for Shawn but he was amused to see Camila doing it. She picked three chocolate bars from the rack and shoved them in her pocket while looking around her. Shawn huffed at her silliness, he wasn't expecting her to do such things. Shawn put some candies in the pockets of his jeans too and moved along with her. She pulled him closer and shoved some chocolates inside his jacket.
"I don't have enough space." She said looking at his questioning eyes.

They easily sneaked out of the market while the person on the counter was busy with his customers.

"Most of the guys refuse to do this task but you did that.." She told him, unwrapping the candy before putting it in her mouth.

"So you test every guy like this to get rid of them."

"Nope! Most of them don't reach this stage either." She said proudly and then ran to cross the road.

"Where?" He shouted for her, standing in his place.

"Just wait" She told and stopped by kids who were sitting on the footpath. She seemed to talk to them and then gestured at Shawn to come there. He crossed the road too and she inserted her hand in his jacket to pull out all the chocolates and candies to distribute them to kids. She ruffled their hair before leaving. Shawn unconsciously smiled at the view when Camila was busy with kids and then immediately returned to his strict expressions when she turned to him.

"What were you saying to kids before?" He asked.

"Nothing, I was just asking about their parents and family."

Shawn noded knowing what she wanted to know.

"So what we are upto now" He said taking the driver seat on his Range Rover.

"Oh that's my favourite part going to come."

"You think you can get rid of me...it's not gonna happen you already saw it." He grinned proudly.

"After this you will start thinking about it..trust me." She said giving him a large fake smile. Shawn just shook his head in response and focused on turning his car.
