"Welcome home Mendes"

The man who was dressed up in black shirt and grey dress pant came and sat in front of a desk. Shawn was sitting at the opposite side of a desk.

"That's not my home, you know very well Brent." Shawn told the man who was looking at him with a smug look on his face.

"Come on Mendes, you were 13 when you were brought here, one of the millions of kids from a shelter home, you are lucky to call this your home.".

Shawn clenched his jaw, his cheeks red, looking away from Brent, he eyed the young man standing on the side with his arms binded on his chest. His white T-shirt were exposing his arms which contained a snake tattoo on one of them. His muscles were prominent indicating that he worked out often but not that regularly. He thought who's that new entry in the group he didn't meet before.

"You were spying on me since I left my home, I spent 2 years wandering and sleeping on streets, I didn't have food sometimes, I had to sleep under rain and cold but you didn't come for help..you let that small kid sleeping on the roads when you could've save him, What If I would've died, you won't care right!" Shawn snapped at Brent and lightened the weight from his chest.

His eyes were burning from the harsh memories that instantly came to his mind. The memory of him hiding from bullyers who used to beat him and snatch his food, the policemen who used to take him with them for an unknown crime and he had to spend the night in jail.

"You are right we wouldn't care but that's our job and now you are part of us..if you didn't go through the hardships of your childhood, you won't be the strong man that you've become now."

"I don't want to talk about my childhood anymore." Shawn gulped the hard realities flashing through his mind.

Brent knew him since he was 11, one of the member of the team who had task to select spy agents for training. They had to select young people mostly kids and teenagers who didn't have any family to care about and must have gone through hard times, so that they could bring out their inner aggression to make them strong. Street children were best subject in that scenario and Shawn was one of them. He had a family but he didn't want to live with them. He was sent to the shelter home by his team for his initial mental upbringing and then was given under the supervision of Paul John for his physical upbringing. That was the first time he visited this place, the FBI head quarter. He was brought blind folded there and till now he only knew this dark cabin which they let him see and wander in the building if necessary. Otherwise he was unaware of the exact place where this infrastructure was situated. Maybe somewhere in hills or forest, he didn't know nor he wanna know coz they were strictly forbidden to come that place alone. They were dropped there whenever they were needed.

"Ok then we will talk about your next task." Brent suggested putting his arms on the desk.

"Of course we will."
A female voice hit his ear as the door of the cabin opened and then shut.

Hannah Diaz was 26 year old descent and smart woman. Shawn knew her from his last mission. She was the one who guided him to proceed and perhaps the only person here, he genuinely liked. She was tall with pale complexion. Her clothing simple and graceful, blue jeans with maroon plan T-shirt. No doubt if she'd wear fancy clothes and put more makeup on her face, she'd look stylish and more attractive. She was wearing her glasses and her brown hair were free in a Bob cut.

"Shawn I was looking forward to meet you." She said giving him a formal handshake.

"Well I wasn't but you are the only person here whom I would say nice to meet you." He said with no expression on his face while Hannah smiled at his gesture.
