29-My Girl

"So how do you meet that iron man." Gigi asked while sipping her drink.

"Iron man?" Camila said in confusion.

"Shawn I mean.." She told her. "I call him iron man not because he's like iron man."

"Then why?"

"Because he's just arrogant, stubborn and annoying..never mind I hate that marvel character in real life." She laughed. "I'm sorry he's your boyfriend but he knows my views about him."

"No it's ok.. you're probably right though." Camila laughed with her.

"So he act like a dick to you too." Gigi asked.

"No...I mean yeah sometimes his arrogance annoys me too." She told her.

"Good to know.. atleast you agree with me, I think we can be friends now." Gigi said smiling at her.

"Hey! having fun hun!" Hailey appeared from nowhere.

"Hailey what are you doing here?" Gigi asked in surprise as she knew Hailey wasn't invited in the party.

"What do you mean? can't I be in the party..seems like you found already a new friend." Hailey taunted eyeing Camila and Camila was just frozen at the memory of their last interaction.

"I think I should go." Camila managed to say but as soon as she moved, Hailey put her feet in her way which caused Camila to stumble and land straight on the floor smashing her head on it.

"Camila!" Gigi squealed as she grabbed her from behind.

"God! Camila you alright?"

Camila's head was spinning but she wasn't hit that bad as she opened her eyes to see Shawn holding her and pulling her to get up.

"You okay?" He asked holding her waist with one hand to keep her straight on her feet.

"Yes I'm okay." She told him.

"Come with me." Shawn said as he started moving her with him towards the couch. Meanwhile Zayn gave a harsh glare to Gigi and moved away with Shawn, thinking that she called Hailey and told her about the party. Gigi felt guilty but it wasn't her fault, she was just ashamed of her friend's action.

"Hailey you didn't have to come here." Gigi spat in anger to Hailey.

"Don't you dare to tell me what I've to do and what to not..I see you now getting friends with my enemies."

"Gosh! Hailey you are crazy." Gigi said in annoyance and moved away from her to place where Zayn and Shawn were now sitting.

Camila was blushing in embarrassment as she noticed all eyes were looking at her. Shawn made her sit on the couch and kneeled down in front of her to check her hurting knee.

"Ahh!" She squealed as Shawn touched it.

"It hurts?" He asked.

"Yeah but I'm okay if you'll stop touching it." She told him.

"If you would've listened to me and wore something to cover your knees then it wouldn't have happened." He spat. Camila's face turned dark shade of red as she noticed they weren't alone, few of the Shawn's friends gathered around them.

"Shawn please." Camila said with pleading eyes but Shawn ignored and slided his one hand under her legs while other behind her waist to pick her up. He sat on the couch making Camila to sit on his lap, caging her between his strong arms.

"Shawn! What are you doing? Let me sit next to you." Camila was about to die right there in embarrassment.

"No! you will stay here in my arms until we leave." He declared, placing a kiss on her cheek. Camila couldn't help but hide her face in the crock of his neck unable to look at the people around them. Shawn smiled at her innocence.

Gigi turned around to see Hailey's reaction and she was looking like the hungry lioness who was about to devour the little baby deer. She tried to talk to Zayn but he ignored her and took a seat beside Shawn.

"Never ever I thought in a million years that Shawn Mendes would be affectionate with a girl in front of his friends." Josh said plopping on the couch in front of Shawn.

"Wrong." Shawn spat taking a sip from his drink. "If you think she's just a girl..then know that Camila isn't a common girl for me, she's important part of my life now and that's what you guys should remember already." He told them and everyone errupt in woahs which caused Camila to dig a hole in his neck and hid herself in it.

"Guys keep your voices low..my girl is shy." Shawn said smiling as he felt Camila squirming in his lap. Camila wanted to slap him hard on his face, what he was trying to do, trying to kill her with embarrassment.

"She seems innocent and cute." Josh complimented.

"Yeah but never get to bad side of her...my girl is fiesty as hell and can make you run on your knees if she'd get angry." He warned.

"She's from Miami right? We didn't get to see fiesty hot girls like her in Canada." Josh said laughing at his own joke while everyone was quiet, knowing that it wasn't a joke Shawn Mendes would appreciate. He stopped laughing as soon as he noticed he was only looking weird while Shawn glared at him.

"I want you guys to respect my girl. Her name is Camila and if someone would even try to disrespect her, he should better get insurance of his bones cause I'm going to break them all." He declared with serious look on his face which made Camila's heart skip a beat. There was no doubt people in that room respected Shawn and more than that they feared him which made Camila confident enough to lift her head up from where it was hiding to look at the people around them. They all seemed to admire her beautiful face which looked adorable with a slight blush spreaded on her cheeks.

"Should we go back if you're feeling uncomfortable here." Shawn asked softly caressing her cheek as she was looking around. She noded and Shawn didn't waste a minute in picking her up again.

"Josh give me keys of your car." Shawn demanded and to Camila's surprise he pulled out the keys from his side pocket without any argument.  The man Shawn insulted a minute ago didn't mind giving him his car, just made Camila to believe that Shawn had something due to which they all feared him so much.

"I'll come in the morning to take my bike." He told him and then left the place carrying Camila in his arms.

"Zayn!" Gigi finally spoke to talk to Zayn but as soon as she called his name, he got up and left the place.

"Looks like one friend fell in love and other fell outta love." Josh commented and Gigi just rolled her eyes on his comment, following Zayn.
