19-Now You See Me

"Oh my god, it's really Shawn."
Hailey said looking at him from a distance.

"Where?" The girl asked standing next to her looking at the direction of her eyes.

"Look! boy in black shirt talking with that man in blue shirt." She told her gesturing towards him.

"Wow he's really-"

"Hot I know." Hailey cut her off.

"Why are you standing here, just go after him." The girl suggested.

"But Jenn I'm looking a mess right now...wait." She said taking her other ear ring off. "I'll come back, alright."

She told Jennifer and was about to move but Shawn turned and  disappeared before her eyes. She ran to the spot where he was standing to look around and found no one.

"Where did he go?" She said to herself and kept going in search of him.

Camila was standing in front of mirror in her dressing room, wiping off her makeup. Her hair were now freely cascading on her shoulders with costume for performance still on.

"Camila." Shawn suddenly whispered behind her scaring the hell out of her.

"Gosh Shawn." She gasped putting her hand on her chest. "You scared me."

"I told you I'll come to you out of nowhere."

"But Shawn what are you doing here, if someone will see you-"

"Don't worry I locked the room and no one have seen me getting here..look what I brought for you." He told her pulling a brand-new cell phone out of his pants pocket.

"What's this?"

"This is a phone, you'll use to call or text me..I had my number saved in it but be careful don't let anyone know that you have this phone and the number should only be used for me..no one else.." He explained her.

"Alright." She said looking at the device in her hand while Shawn was staring at her beautiful face.

"Your performance was amazing tonight." He told her still staring at her.

"You watched it."

"I was invited by your uncle and Nicholas, don't worry." He told seeing her intense expression which was relieved now." You looked so beautiful." He added.

"Thank you." She replied shyly.

"They told me about their offer Camila."

"What? What did they say.." Worry again filled in her expressions.

"Till now it's normal..but I'll get it after the press, I don't have any idea what they're really upto."

She frowned looking down on floor.

"Hey! We can call each other now..you'll know everything." He said holding her hand, giving it a squeeze in assurance.

"Yeah." She noded smiling at him and his heart skipped a beat to see the most genuine and beautiful smile in the world he ever seen.

"I should go before your dance mate return, I'll see you later."

He said and left in the corridors. Moving in his own way, he got stumbled with something, he wasn't expecting at all.

"Hailey you?" He said in surprise.

"Yeah Shawn, I was looking for you." She said stepping forward to give him a hug but he quickly stepped back.

"What are you doing here?" He asked instead.

"I told you Shawn..I had a show here."

"Oh!"

"Shawn I can't believe I found you here, I was worried how I'm gonna meet you but see our fate is bound to keep us together." She said smiling wide.

"Yeah sure but I gotta go now.." He was about to get escape when she grabbed his arm.

"Wait Shawn, why you are always in a hurry..we are meeting after so long, let's have a coffee or lunch together tomorrow."

"Sorry guys didn't wanna disturb but Shawn we have a press talk.." Nicholas said as he found Shawn grabbed by an unknown figure which he was sure a model, he saw an hour earlier on a ramp.

"Yeah... Hailey we'll talk later, I had an important work to do." He said glaring at her and shrugged her off. She just eyed both of the men with a frown and went away quietly.

"Your girlfriend?" Nicholas asked as she left.

"No just a friend from Toronto..what were you saying about press conference."

"Yeah these are the things you've to speak in front of press." He handed him a paper.

"But it's not like that... why is it scripted." Shawn asked after reading the whole thing.

"Press conferences are always scripted Shawn and we wanted to make it look like that, it's nothing on which you should've objection."

"The thing is that I didn't come to you begging for funds, it's opposite which means I've to lie." He asked.

"Yes and it will go in your benefit like people will recognise you as a hero." Nicholas told him. "Look Shawn you just have to tell them that Alejandro Galitzine have accepted your request of giving fund for a noble cause initiated by you, it's completely in your favour."

Shawn noded in agreement but deep down he knew there's nothing going to be in his benefit. He was sure it was just their trick to trap him and then make him pay for his deeds. But what they didn't know was that Shawn had the key to treasure. Their one and only secret keeper was now a puppet on his hands and he could play that card anytime he needed. They did a press conference and Shawn said everything he was told to say. He told the press that he wanted to be the part of the youth project and needed funding which he asked from Galitzines and they agreed for which he was apparently very thankful to them. Never in his life he played the game upon rules set by others, it was his game so the rules must had to be applied by himself. After hearing that Alejandro had to urgently fly to California along with his son after press conference, he thought that the fortune is in his favour. So he called the one person he needed to talk.

"Camila." Shawn said as she picked up his call.

"Yes Shawn why did you call?" She said in a low voice. He could hear noise of people going in and out behind her.

"Where are you right now?"

"I'm just about to head back home. Why?" She asked.

"Did you hear the press talk?"

"Yeah bit of it, it was showing on the TV everywhere." She told now standing at a quiet place.

"Don't go back home." He ordered.

"Why?"

"Just sit in the car with the guards, so they would think you're going home but sneak out from there as soon as they drop you, I'd be waiting in my car at the same spot, I used to drop you." He told her.

"But I can't be outside at night if Nicholas or uncle will know, they'll kill both of us."

"Camila they'd never know coz they won't be here for a day, they flied to California." She didn't speak anything. "Camila do you hear me..Can you do this?" He asked.

"Yes I sneaked out for several time before so it's not that difficult." She told him.

"Good, I'll be waiting for you."

"Now you see me Galitzine." He said to himself after ending the call.
