40-Punishment

"Camila you know I didn't lie to you..I told you before marriage that we are doing this to make you stay here, that's it and believe me I care about you and wanna protect you..trust me please." He practically begged as Camila was now seemed to be thinking about trusting him again and then stood up to shut down the shower, taking back his seat again.

"Alright." She said and Shawn gave her a huge grin. "But you'll remain away from me and I'll stay here till I put my uncle behind bars and then you'll have to divorce me." She declared.

"Alright as you wish but get up and change your clothes first..I'll order something for dinner." Shawn said as he had no other way.

"I know very well what to do, you better stop commanding me, I'm not your maid." She snapped and he couldn't say something but watch as she stood up to move out.

"Camila" He called to which she halted in a way to look back. "Where did you find the file?"

"From living room." She told.

"Someone came here today?" He asked.

"No.." She said after thinking for a while but then turned back again. "Actually..."

"Camila if anyone came today, then please tell me, it's very important for me to know." Shawn frowned.

"Gigi and Hailey came today.."

"What?" He stood up. "And you're telling me now, you should've asked me before letting them in."

"What do you think Shawn?" Camila now faced him completely, crossing her arms on her chest. "One of them left that file in our house?..then it's good cause if they didn't do that I wouldn't have known the truth."

"Ok but it's the last time you did that..cause you don't know how dangerous it could be in future." He told her.

"I think I told you that I'm not taking your orders.." She snapped again and this time Shawn chewed his anger under his teeth. "And also you'll sleep on couch now..I shouldn't have felt bad for you before."

"Let me remind you that the bed you're sleeping in, is mine." He said clenching his jaw.

"Good..if you want me to leave your house then I'll start my packing..." She now knew how to annoy him.

"Alright Camila! I'm sorry..I'll sleep on couch and you'll sleep on bed of course." He replied giving her a fake smile.

She turned back slamming door on him, determined to annoy him as much as she could. Shawn was surely trying to control his anger but he didn't know how longer he could do that. But he had no choice, he had to agree with her for making her stay here and do what he needed her to do. He knew that Gigi wasn't going to do anything like that so of course it was the Hailey who was acting suspiciously since few days and now he knew how he could reach towards the real traitor.

"You did the great job!" Hannah told Hailey as soon as she took a seat in her car.

"Of course I know." She said with a proud grin.

"But your job isn't over yet.. Shawn would burst into your house anytime soon." Hannah told her.

"But how...you didn't tell-" Her smile faded.

"He's a detective, capable of predicting his enemies and when Camila would tell him that you came to his house, he would definitely know that you were the one."

"Then what should I do.. should I run away?"

"No.. you'll stay." Hannah said pulling something out of her bag. It was a small injection. "He would come over and use his every power to open your mouth and spit my name..but you wouldn't cause if you'll do it, I'll kill you with my own hands. Just tell him that it was a blonde guy you don't know the name."

"What's this?" Hailey asked taking injection from her.

"Tranquilliser... you'd have to inject it anywhere in his flesh and he'd be unconscious for whole three hours, fully on your mercy..means you can use his state for your own benefit." Hannah said turning her head slightly towards her. "If you're smart enough, I don't have to tell you what to do further I think."

"No..I definitely know what to do." A smirk formed on her lips. "Mendes I'm waiting for you for so long to come to me."

Ringing the bell Shawn eagerly waited for Hailey to open her door.

"Shawn!" She acted to be surprised. "How did you came here..it must be the last day-"

"Shut up I need to come in or you'll have to deal with your neighbours." He said furiously.

"Alright..come in." She said letting him in. "What happened? Is everything alright Shawn?" She asked shutting the door behind.

"Who's behind you?" He asked directly.

"What? What you saying Shawn." She pretended to be hintless.

"I'm asking you to tell me about the person who told you to come in my apartment and turn Camila against me." He said staring at her.

"I don't know what you're talking ab-" She was about to say when Shawn pushed her back on wall and started choking her with his tight grip on her throat.

"I said tell me the name of that motherfucker traitor..spill it." He shouted with his flushed face.

"Sha-w-n o-k I'll te-ll you." She managed to say as Shawn loosened his grip. "It was bl---" She coughed. "blonde guy, I don't know his name."

"Fuck! It's him..I knew it.." As soon as he turned his back, Hailey stabbed injection on his back muscles, making him slowly drowned on the floor.
