51- Can't Get In

Knowing that Hannah was behind this and she was arrested and put in the cell, Shawn didn't wait to ask her the reason of what she did to Camila. Therefore as soon as the operation  was over and doctor told him that she was kept in ICU in extremely critical condition where no one was allowed to see her yet but he can see a glimpse behind the glass. Hence he decided to get back to his job. He was worried about Camila as the doctor told him that it was necessary for Camila to wake up in next 24 hours, if she didn't then she would remain in a long lasting comma with no specific time period. Which meant she'd be an alive dead body.

As Zayn and Gigi arrived there, he felt better. Zayn made him to change his clothes and freshen up and told him to muster up some courage cause that was the time when he had to be stronger for Camila. He told him that Camila won't be happy if she would see him in such a mess. His words have him hope but the rage inside him was firing up. He also went in ICU and saw her chained in IV tubes and wires. Seeing her like that powerless and miserable, he felt an urge to kill the person who did this to her. Therefore he was desperate to strangle the person who was responsible for all this.

"Sorry We can't let you in sir." One of the female police officer  argued holding him outside  to not let him get inside the jail.

"You can't stop me...I've a legal right. I'm a member of investigation team." Shawn yelled in furry.

"Not now." A third person's voice made both Shawn and the officer to turn their heads.

"Louis?" Shawn said in surprise.

"Yes me.." Louis said as he came closer. "But you're not allowed to be in there."

"I think you fucking lost your mind...I'm the one appointed for this case." Shawn snapped.

"You were appointed but. " Louis said calmly.  "Now you're kicked out and they appointed me in your place."

"Really?" Shawn laughed with a hint of taunt while police officer stared both of them. "You're kidding right."

"I'm not kidding....if you don't believe me then call Brent..he'll tell you."

"Right. " He replied with serious face expression and started calling Brent. "Brent what is that?"

"What happened Shawn? Is there any news about Camila. " Brent asked on a call.

"I'm not in the hospital.. I'm in jail right now."

"What? What are you doing there?"

"I've to meet Hannah but here they're telling me that I can't go in cuz I'm no more part of the team now."

"Umm Shawn.." Brent hesitated and Shawn frowned. "They're right.. you can't get in and you're not the part of the team as well."

"What do you mean?" He asked furiously while glaring at Louis who gave him a victory smile.

"I'm sorry...I tried my best but they said that you're emotionally involved in this case which isn't a good thing for an investigating officer."

"What the hell you're talking about I'm dealing with this case for a long time.  I risked my life for it and you're saying that I'm out now when it is about to solve?"

"Shawn it's head of the department's decision and I can't fight with them and they're right. See you need to take care of Camila. "

"I can't take care of her without ruining her enemies."

"Now you're just saying it due to your emotions not mindfulness. They're right, you need to stay away from it, I fear you came here to choke Hannah..didn't you?"
