31-Fear Of Losing

"You got good moves now..I have to appreciate Omer for that." Shawn said panting as he finished his practice with Ryan who smiled at compliment given by his idol.

"You made his base strong so I didn't have to put much effort." Omer told him.

"But still I'm proud that I trusted you cause Ryan was a very important student of mine."

"Of course Shawn, it's an honour for me to train your student for a while, I myself learned so many things from you. It amazes me, how young you are but still the finest boxer of this entire club."

"Thanks Omer, you've always been so nice to me." He patted Omer's shoulder.

He went to his lawyer before coming to club and told him to prepare documents for his marriage with Camila. He also discussed his issues with Alejandro Galitzine and he gave him advice on that matter. According to him, if Camila would get agree on filing case against her uncle, then his escape would become much difficult and his reputation would also get deteriorated.

"Hey man! What's up." Shawn said as he found Zayn sitting on the bench in the gym. His chest drenched in sweat, looked like he did heavy exercise which was quite unusual. Zayn only worked out when he wasn't feeling well and got frustrated.

"Why are you upset now?" Shawn asked drinking water from his bottle. He was equally sweaty as Zayn. "Let me guess..you and Gigi gotten into a fight." He assumed as Zayn remained quiet.

"Of Course, who else is important in my life.."

"Now what was the reason of fight." Shawn asked.

"Just forget it.." He shrugged.

"Zayn you know I only ask for once, tell me now." Shawn ordered.

"Due to Hailey.."

"What? Why? I mean me and Camila should be fighting cause of her not you.."

"I don't know Shawn...I'm just tired of her telling everything to her...like yesterday at the party I strictly forbade her to not to tell anything to Hailey but she came out of nowhere."

"So you think Gigi told her about party."

"I mean she's saying she didn't but I just can't believe her, like there's no way she came to know from another person." Zayn said looking at his hands.

"If she said that she didn't tell her than she didn't..just believe her, I don't think so that she would be lying to you and even if she did tell her, it's ok, you know Hailey is her best friend. Who else she would tell things." Shawn told him.

"That's you are saying..you know she hates you man." Zayn said with a chuckle.

"I know but I don't mind her infact she's better than others, she says on my face whatever she feels about me unlike others who talk behind my back."

"Yeah cause they're scared of you."

"Good for them..now get up and go to your girl." Shawn said patting his back. "Make things right with her, I can't see your shitty face all day."

Zayn smiled at him before getting up, shaking his head. That's how both friends supported each other and that was the reason, they were friends till now.

Shawn bumped his head back and forth as the music played in his ear. He moved where his bike was parked and as soon as he held the helmet, a note fell down on the ground. He looked at the ground, grabbing the white coloured paper in his hands and read "Mendes you think you can save her.." in bold letters. The first thing came to his mind was Camila. He quickly pulled out his phone and nervously started searching for her number. He called her but no one was answering. He didn't waste a minute and got onto his bike, speeding it as fast as possible like he was in a race.

Camila put the spatula on the kitchen shelf and reduced the heat of the stove. She was trying to cook something, she just saw on the TV. Moving towards the living room, she picked up her phone and saw several missed calls from Shawn. She was about to call him back but she heard the bell ringing on the door. Not just ringing, it was crazily ringing like someone was so eager that he might broke the door to get in. She ran to see through the hole in the door and saw Shawn as usual but as soon as she opened it, he grabbed her, moving her aside. Then locked the door behind making sure no one was watching him in the corridor.

"What happened Shawn?" Camila asked seeing his suspicious actions.

"You alright? Did anyone come here today?" He asked clutching her arms.

"I'm alright Shawn..no one came and if anyone does I would never open the door unless it's you."

"Good.. don't ever open the door for anyone except me even for my friends..you got it." He told her firmly and she noded. "Why weren't you picking up your phone?"

"I was in the kitchen."

"Alright.. we'll have to visit the hospital to take some tests.." He told her and she stared at him in confusion. "It's necessary before marriage. Go get ready."

"Now?" She said in surprise.

"Yeah now..we can't delay, it should happen as soon as possible." He declared and she went inside without arguing.

Shawn saw his phone buzzing with an unknown number on a display as he and Camila stepped outside from the room where their blood samples were taken for the tests.

"Who's this?" He asked picking up the call.

"Brent." Listening to his voice, Shawn looked at Camila and then turned to talk in lower voice.

"Why did you call?" He asked.

"I'm waiting for you on second floor in front of room 102, meet me in 2 minutes."

"I can't I'm with Camila."

"Don't worry, my men are watching her, just come for 5 minutes." Brent said and shut the call off. Shawn looked around him, noticing some suspicious faces in the crowded corridor of the hospital.

"Camila just be there, I'll be back in 5 minutes." He told her.

"But where are you going?" She asked.

"I'll tell you later but don't move from here..ok?"

"Ok." She said unsured and he started running away from her. She looked around her, tapping her one foot on floor and crossing her arms on her chest. Suddenly she caught sight of someone, she knew. Gigi just came out of the room and Camila's eyes roomed at the door displaying "Gynaecologist" on it. As Gigi picked her head up which was before busy in putting a paper in the envelope, her eyes found Camila quickly and the colours from her face disappeared. Putting Shawn's orders in trash, she quickly ran towards Gigi to ask if she was alright but she turned her back and moved away from Camila as fast as possible like she had seen a snake or something.
